I'm not sure whether you guys will appreciate this one, but yes, I got Richard Garfield to sign my proxy Ancestral a few years back.

I love that proxy but I couldn't figure out why you used an unlimited forest (which has value) over a revised or something for the proxy. Then it hit me, Ancestral wasn't printed in revised. Nice pimp!

I`ve seen tons of these these crappy cards. Either text changed by garfield himself or selfalter signed by him.
Only thing i dig is "target playa" instead of player if i read correctly.

Missed the New Zealand tag. Phew...USD$650 in trade for an Emerald would have made me a sad panda. But trading for Power always feels epic - I traded into a full P9 from only a Ruby and Jet at GP: Providence last year. Felt so accomplished afterwards.

Also, the emerald is Near Mint. So I did overpay but not by too much (the mox is beautiful).

Basically, he pulled out all the stuff he wanted, and we sorted it into

bulk rares/Mythics

medium priced

high priced

The medium prices we agreed on an average value (ended up to be about $3 each, I think the average should be slightly higher but searching prices up would take forever)

the high prices stuff I got a trade in of ~75-80% of what he'd sell for, so it was pretty good (esp because he prices by SCG, so relatively I got a pretty good deal on the emerald)

I was a bit over when I traded in, so I grabbed a trop, then I ended up under by ~$90
Had 18 packs from judging though, but he couldn't give me a good trade-in on packs, so I decided to rip them.
Ended up ripping just enough to cover my $90 from the 18 packs!

Them Summer Trops. That's a beautiful deck sir, and love the foil German. Asian and Cyrillic seems a little overdone at times so it's refreshing to sweet some OG pimpl
