Yes and no. Prostitutes can leave nasty things that keep on giving, and only last for the evening. Once you buy cards, they're non-consumable. You get to keep them until you sell them! My entire basis of spending money on cards is that if this went towards coke or booze or broads, I'd have nothing to show for it once I wake up out of my stupor. Plus, it appreciates in value. It's not like the booze I bought and turned into urine is now suddenly worth more money three months after I bought that drink.

As for foil fetch pimp, i rather enjoy the new border with the dci signature in it, it's so sweet. I actually like new border on old cards, they're awesome :D

Totally agree on this too, my love for new bordered cards only stretch to FNM and Judge foils, everything else seems more awesome in the old borders :D. The Swords of Light/Shadow and Fire/Ice were simply amazing as old bordered foils :D

Fantastic looking deck. Can tell you prefer old school if possible over shinies. I still prefer shinies if possible. You should foreign up stuff you cant get in foil, like your general and some of the old stuff. A Japanese Kaalia would be hot.

I am not a big fan of promotional cards. I should add a DCI Vampiric Tutor and Enlighened Tutor. However, I doubt I will ever change the Beta cards. I really like the look of Beta cards alongside the foils.

I went to SCG to buy some perfect fits, some KMC sleeves, and a Ultra Pro Premium binder and ended up spending over $600 on foreign foils. I got some great deals.

Nice deck, your mainboard is actually nearly identical to mine, aside from the lands (both in decklist as in choice of foils etc :P)
