Here it be, the fabled Maverick deck.
My "pimpness" - Korean if exist, otherwise oldest print. Foils are tacky.
Yes, the sleeves are quite dirty. Oh well.

No sideboard, as it's always in flux with the specific metagame. Only interesting items in it are Korean 4th Armageddons and Tsunamis.

On a different note, I found out (I think) there are different font's in Simplified Chinese, and the new one is pretty ugly. An example:



As far as I know, the Glen Elendra Archmage is some new font of simplified Chinese, the Skullclamp and Riptide Lab are old font simplified. Anyone knows which sets have the old font of simplified Chinese (the one from Onslaught and Darksteel)? Or is the Glen Elendra not simplified Chinese at all?

They're both simp. Chinese.
I have no idea when they changed, but I'm thinking it might have been 5thdawn/Ravnica as that's when they stopped printing Traditional Chinese. Don't quote me on that though...

It would be if it wasnt in high demand from Standard. Im also not sure if its a permanent fixture for the deck. Time will tell

The worst part of pimping is buying a copy of a card that's in flux, spending a ton of money on it, and then it sits in your box/binder since it's no longer good in the metagame. /Story of my life

in 1999 heather hudson, randy gallegos and rob alexander visited our local card store, i got plenty of stuff signed back then. it´s somewhere stinking around in old boxes, lol. recently i found my signed burgeoning in a common box, so at least i know i havent thrown away these cards xD

Elendra is traditional chinese. After Mirrodin they've stopped printing in Simplified Chinese. New prints of Traditional Chinese are pretty horrible. Old (bold) Simplified chinese is for my taste best looking foreign languge, closely folowed by Korean , but only on nonfoils, somehow I can not get used to seeing foil Korean cards.. just doesn't feel right.

No, they didn't print Glen Elendra Archmage in traditional Chinese, I'm pretty sure. They stopped printing traditional Chinese in 2003, like you said. They started printing traditional Chinese again with the release of M11.
