We call it "93-94", legal editions is alpha, beta, unlimited, arabian nights, antiquities, legends and the dark. It's philosopy is that these where the cards that was printed during this era (93-94) and to preserv the "old-school" feeling about it revised is not allowed. Fallen Empiers was printed in 94 but it could be bought during 95 and doesn't quite fit the "old-school" feeling, so it was cut.

on MKM there is a signed in silver mystical tutor. I instantly bought it and requested scans because a signed mystical for 300€ is a fuckin steal. Someone out there is trying to make profit. It is signed in silver like my signed oconnor cards but you can clearly tell the difference.

for those who have not seen oconnors signature, please have a look at the listed one to see how it is NOT.

seller claims he bought from someone in gent. i am not even sure if i have posted a picture of mine before gent. and he claims seller was spanish or italian. there is not a single spanish guy with a signed tutor, none of the genuine signed copies are there. and for italy i am not sure. but anyway, watch out!

So, going to an SCG Open next month and plan on dumping a ton of small stuff I have a lot of to them, as their buylist prices are at or higher than what i can reliably sell them at locally. Can't decide if I want to use it towards upgrading my FBB duals to Beta (only need a set of 10, since I only play EDH now) or just not worry about the upgrade. Other upgrades I plan on completing are English Eureka and The Abyss, and upping my Timetwister from UL. I might end up trading for a Capture and a Ravages from a guy I know while I am there as well. Looking forward to it.

Oh, and Markers, I am working on getting a quality pic/scan of the Drew Tucker proof thing I mentioned previously. It is pretty sweet, and I definitely want to share it.

I picked up a signed FoW the other day but it's not signed in Terese Nielsen's usual super scripty swooshy(?) manner. Has she been known to sign differently ever or is it just a fake?

i´d have to see it. there are always variations but u usually can tell.
for example on mkm there are also 2 fake extreme altered force of wills by seller pacofaco.

2 of the playset are real, 2 fake. they also dont appear on nielsens site and the signature looks really really off.

well i also got a signed wasteland that doesnt look anywhere near any word that might be "fricker" but it was damn cheap. probably some bullshit in a different language i dont understand. maybe it was used as a proxy when wasteland was worth shit and it was representing another card

Are signed FoW's actually worth more then regular ones? I believe i have a quite nice NM FoW somewhere with a clean signature.

This one was offered to me before it was put on mkm...Don't touch it. It's fake. I told the guy that it wasn't real but he doesn't seem to care...

Unlikely you'll find a store that won't rape you by undervaluing the Revised and overvaluing the FBB. It'd be better just to trade with dealers or people.

I once bought a "good" condition FoW from MagicMadhouse and received a signed copy. Ebay currently has a "played" signed FoW for $65. So I think signed copies in less than NM condition aren't considered to be worth more. It might be different with M/NM ones though, they're obviously more pimp.
