Congratulations! I saw the live stream. The way the commentators talk about nic fit is annoying and makes them sound like idiots, but you played well and it was fun to watch.

Was at work, what time does the feature match start?

i also got top 15th out of 40+ players yesterday playing my punishing Nic-Fit, my 2 loss was, Bant Enchantress that i could'nt find any of my Pernicious Deed and the second loss vs UW Miracles i got a bad draw in out 2 games.

The way the commentators talk about Nic Fit is soooo annoying. They act like the deck is terrible and every move is terrible and every opener is terrible. When Arianhod was playing I must have tweeted the commentators 3 separate times trying to explain some of your play paths. Anyway, congrats to both of you for very nice finishes in your tourneys. A question for you Arianhod, in the games you lost do you think you could have won them if you played a little better or were they simply unwinnable?

Its really obnoxious. At one point I remember them saying something about how the mono blue deck with no clock that he was playing was definitely the favored deck in the matchup. When in reality it was probably like more of bye than UR delver is since they are slower and dont have PoP. Kevin then 2-0'd him.

Or like "herp derp its a standard deck cause hes playing thragtusk and huntmaster". It just so happens that wizards likes to print better creatures in every set, so yes, the creatures the deck uses for the beatdown plan happen to be legal in standard. So obviously also makes BUG delver (arguably THE legacy deck to beat) must be a standard deck, since it's playing DRS and delver.

At one point, to they raved about how not playing dryad arbor MUST be wrong, which made it really obvious they haven't done any testing with the deck whatsoever cause arbor is god awful.

Honestly this is why I try not to listen to the streams. I will not claim to know everything about the format, but a lot of the commentators seem to have not seen very many of the more fringe decks like Nic Fit and have no idea how they work.

That what nottz and TheArchitect say! And the commentators were so arrogant about it. One said "I talked to a few players and they claim that Dryad Arbor is not good in this ... I don't believe them" and then babbles on about how Arbor would be better than Tribe Elder. What an idiot.

For a lot of the commentators thats true, but Ari Lax and Adam Prozac are serious, and skilled legacy players though. Im not 100% sure, but I THINK it is their preferred format even.

I dont understand how so many people don't even know some of the basic interactions of nic fit, let alone respect the deck, it was a DTB for like 3 months for crying out loud.
