Good plan. I'm already buying the RtR shocklands right now, there are lots of them available after all the drafts and the standard players have bought theirs three months ago, so prices are about as low as they are going to get. And the fact that I can sell cards like the one random Daybrak Coronet I had left somewhere in the remains of an Uril EDH for a lot of money makes the investment even better.
WTF Thoughtseize? jumped up that much? I thought it was just at 35-40 bucks? I only have one :( -- why can't they reprint these cards, fucking wotc can suck my dick.
We are allowed to bitch about a reprint for looking dumb as hell... right?
Swords to timeshares... golfing anyone?
Why didnt they use Nielsens stp art from elspeth v tezz?
So Oblivion Stone is sold out most everywhere at 10$. What is the reason for this? An adjustment in the price due to the popularity of Commander(it is one of the most played cards there), the adoption of O-Stone in 12-Post, is it Modern secret tech, or was it just underpriced?

Oh, modern card prices, you so silly
(looking at you, $35 karn liberated and $70 thoughtseize)
T: @feingersh
This is how lemmings modern is ... Jund was the deck to beat and cost $$$ so the anti-jund green white deck was the poor mans answer ... for like a week until Auriok Champion hit $10 and white leyline hit $15. Now that deck is too expensive to buy off the internet, so r/g tron is the next cheapest ... and the cycle continues.
The cycle continues but the prices don't entirely deflate. I have been meaning to grab a Karn or 2 for a MUD list I am working on...I need to just buy all the cards that I think/know will increase. Fuck Modern.
Inquisition of Kozilek and Burning Wish both seem way overpriced.
The following cards seem low to me. What do you guys think?
Abrupt Decay
Shocklands
Jitte
Knight of the Reliquary
Deathrite Shaman
Ancestral Vision
Inquisition sees a ton of play in Legacy and Modern, from a small print set. Price bump likely due to Modern PTQ season.
Burning Wish was sitting at $6-8 for the longest time, and with being unrestricted in Vintage, deserves a new settling point based on increased demand.
Abrupt Decay is actually trending up from increased play in Standard, as well as constant demand from Eternal formats. Buy them now before they jump to $10.
Shocklands are going to stay low for at least until mid-summer due to them being opened up en masse.
Jitte is low at $20? Seems rather high compared to historical prices.
KotR is low based on low demand. Buy them now and sit on them until its good again. (Go Maverick!! :D)
DRS may drop down a bit once Modern PTQ season ends, but not by much since it seems tons of play in Legacy.
A-Visions is only playable in Legacy in 1-2 niche decks. I don't see it going up unless it were unbanned in Modern. This is unlikely.

Where did you find it at $40? There's plenty on ebay at $20. Probably it's going to come down a bit once the initial hype goes down. Currently stores are not well stocked, people haven't found their extra ones from their junk binders and there's not enough to go around. That being said I'm officially glad that I was able to get on board before it took off, I usually miss these things.
Vendilion Clique is 50 bucks?? They need to reprint that card, along with Thoughtseize from that block.
