Weak Hand from Ben enables a EtW for 14 Gobbos on Bryant's side ... Fetching and a Brainstorm didn't show up one of Ben's 2 Explosives and Bryant takes it

It's about time :p Congrats sir, way to represent your deck.
I'll send you all into the night, with a quote from the SCG Player Profile:
Q: What was the best card in your sideboard today?
A: Tendrils of Agony

The turn before Bryant's duress the opponent played a ponder (maybe a brainstorm, I was half watching so I'm not sure) and didn't shuffle. Opponent elected not to play his bolt in response to the discard although it was the only card that could be discarded. So it had to be some kind of a value card on top.
Then Bryant cabal therapies the geist leaving the opponent with just a land in hand. The opponent still opts to draw that card.
Not many chances he opts to draw a lone fow and it doesn't do anything anyway.
It can't be a spell pierce because :
A) he would have drawn it instead of keeping it second
B) he would have played it in resp to the first ritual
It also couldn't be a stifle for reason A or daze for both reasons.
Therefore it has to be a clique. Once first dark ritual resolves the right play against clique was to play IT and in resp play DR. If opponent plays clique you can still play the last DR with city of brass. If he doesn't we resolve DR and still in resp to the IT play the last DR.
But well you don't have to play perfectly to win at magic. You just need to be better than the other guy. He didn't play clique sooner and if I remember correctly didn't fetch in his turn opening himself to silence in resp to fetching. He also kept a lose hand on the draw against TES, so congratulations to Bryant still.

You very likely can build it without spending any money, just out of what you already have.

I see your reasoning therebut at the same time that is a long line in thinking and ina game on cam after a long day mistakes are made. Like you said, the opponent played a bit sketchy as well. Sometimes they just have it and you can't do much about it
Congratulations Bryant! Loved seeing you pilot storm through the top 8 to victory. The grapeshot kill was probably the best part by far. Glad you were able to punish that UWR player keeping some really loose hands outside the first one. I also really liked how patient you were with the brainstorm in game 1, some people would run it out there immediately and possibly lose on the spot due to bricking off and drawing blanks for at least two turns. Either way, well done. Glad to see you take it down and not some miracles player or something depressing like that.

Grats on the win! This win has been a long time coming based on the recent meta game shifts.
How was Xantid Swarm? Ning and I have felt that they weren't worth the slots recently.
Went to see a mediocre movie instead of watching your win Bryant, now regretting it. Congratulations dude!
