Even though they allow multiple votes to be cast, it's possible that they delete any duplicate votes from the same IP address before counting the results. I feel like it would be less likely to end in a near tie if people were allowed to game the system. Whoever had the most efficient voting bot should win by a reasonable margin, right?
They've already accounted for something like this because Griselbrand has lifelink. Also, since it's a legendary land, the sneak and show decks can just start running this out preemptively to blow up the opponent's copy.
I mean whatever gets created is obviously going to be something that is more targeted for standard (the majority of their players buying boosters who would be voting are standard players). Legacy players just need to hope that they get something that is also useable in legacy.

My suggestion to do this nex time:
- use dci registration
- make 3 different cards standard/legacy/modern: Print them in some special set or just ban them in the other formats if necessary
- only let people vote who played a least a little bit in the format they vote for
- open an inbox where everybody who voted can send 1 suggestion after the archetype is decided. A lot of work to go through crap, but there might be a couple of good suggestions which they can use as "free R&D". Also communities like thesrouce have the ability to all send the same suggestion so they get an idea of what people are craving for.

It looks like if you want to design an enchantment with mass apeal, it has to either be a broken "engine", or put a real stop on the opponent. On the other hand, popular lands do many different things. Note also that none of the popular lands enters the battlefield tapped, so I don't expect one of those to win.
Please stop talking about whether Force of Will is broken or not. It obviously is, and rather than "the glue that holds vintage together" it would be better to call it "the rug under which you hide the filth until there's so much that you can no longer conceal it".
Half of the Lands and ALL Engine enchantments Of the list are banned/restricted, what does it tell you for the remaining YmtC options? Nothing except we won't see a multimanaland nor an engine, which was already clear before. Nice listing non the less ... lol'd as I saw enchantments (played all except Vortex myself)

If they're not going to print land destruction then a Price of Progress hatebear would be cool:
Basic Bob
1R
When Basic Bob etb deal 2 dmg to each player for each non-basic land they control.
Sacrifice a basic land: return Basic Bob to its owner's hand.
2/2
That guy is nuts with Cavern of Souls. He even dodges removal pretty well.
Maybe he's the chosen one to bring balance to the nonbasic wasteland that is Modern?
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
They had a chance to make a PoP hatebear with Anathemancer, but they blew it by making his ETB trigger only 1 multiple of the number of opponent's nonbasics, instead of twice like PoP. And that guy costed.
But I mean, to be fair, in a format like modern where people are getting like 7 nonbasics, this isn't that bad. Modern is a weird format. I think the only fairly interesting deck that I saw was Kibler's Naya aggro deck recently, that Knight shenanigans with Kessig Wolf Run was -badass-.
This is what I want:
Land Double
You may have ~ enter the battlefield as a copy of any land card in a graveyard.
So how about we just make an Academy Ruins for enchantments, everybody wins. :D
"We are goblinkind, heirs to the mountain empires of chieftains past. Rest is death to us, and arson is our call to war."
Recycling Solitary Confinement while Enchantress effects are in play sounds solid as well. Also, Sterling Grove for infinite tutoring.
Oh, not much... just recurring Future Sights and Moats in my EDH deck. *cackles gleefully*
Other than that, it's an auto-include in Enchantress. It probably has niche applications elsewhere in Legacy... but it has a lot of potential. Recycling Planar Collapse or Seal of Cleansing if you just wanna get value. It enables sweet Intuition piles for a janky U/W Replenish/Opalesence deck I've been kicking around forever. Lotsa stuff that I'm not thinking of probably.

Yay, Recycling Standstills!

So it's enchantment :/
Still a million Multi-votes and a close decision, what about a 3rd cardtype-round? No? Another joke: no poll this week but a crappy Color Wheel to make up your mind for the Color-poll the following week. Seriously? Drag this One till Christmas, wut?
Did WotC create any playable (not into-play-cheating) enchantment the last 5 years?

I can't think of anything but Glare of Subdual.
