Sold for 5 times the Price I bought them and gamble on Modern Masters and FtV. I don't care mich because I only play Storm anyways if I can make it to a tournament. I can use the ~2 grand (€) otherwise

And he's banned in Modern, so even then, a reprint would be very unlikely.

There might be an abyssal chance that he's in FTV: 20, but that's extremely unlikely.

I don't see how it's "extremely unlikely" that WotC will include one of the most recognizable cards ever printed in a set commemorating the 20th anniversary of the game. They're not going to print JTMS in a regular set, so if they ever do decide to do a reprint it will almost certainly be as a limited release a la FTV.

I'm not saying it will happen, but wildly speculating that it's "extremely unlikely" is a bit much.

WotC is very aware of the fact that Jace will never be reprinted in a typical set, including Modern Masters, ever. Don't know if the newest FtV is where he will pop up because Wizards likes to disappoint with those FtV things. It's likely he be a Judge Promo or something else in the next few years.

When the regular ones were going for $55 on SCG I thought it was a steal and got my set right away. I don't know how I could be so blind to pass on getting a foil playset to sell later even though I knew their prices were at the bottom end. Feel like an idiot now. Mental note to self: If you get yourself a playset of anything to play with knowing the prices will shoot up, get also a foil playset to sell later.

Old frame anything in non-foil is what I'd love to see. Chances of that happening? Slim to none.

I think FoW is in the same boat and is a much better choice for FTV 20. FoW is probably the most iconic card in the game that isn't Black Lotus.

Jace is too new to be the definitive card in a FTV that is specifically meant to commemorate the 20th year of MTG.

Not sure what's funnier, the MOTL trade value circle-jerking, frantic eBay BiNs, or butthurt foodstampers who didn't buy Jaces @ $50 heralding the fall of legacy.

I wish stocks were as easy as MTG speculation; I'd be rolling in it.

Yeah ... I guess I love russian cards as much as the next guy but I stopped bidding @ $20. Then I found a bunch on random CC powered sites for the same price as Engrish. Reminds me of Boros Charm, I opened a box and a 1/2 of russian and koreeeen Gatecrash and got 1.

Whats up with the sudden price hike of Jace the Mindsculptor both regular and foils. Foils are going for $500+ and the non foil spiked from ~$90 to $150+ in the past month. Jace is banned in Modern. Is the Legacy demand really going up all the sudden? I thought Star City was starting to cut Legacy opens as the Star City Open NJ in Somerset in the beginning of May has Team Sealed for Sunday which annoys me as a Legacy player.

Tabletop wants Jace all day, he was a Mythic rare from a very small set that didn't see a lot of boosters cracked, and SCG has a habit of 50-75% price increases out of nowhere.

I would hazard a guess that Worldwake was among the most opened second sets ever, honestly. People were looking to win the Jace lottery, and it made them buy boxes/packs for ridiculous markups and crack them in hopes of finding Jace.
