What's the easiest/most reliable way to differentiate Chinese and Japanese cards when they aren't clearly labeled?

In general, Chinese is blockier and more angular than Japanese, which has curvier and more flowing characters.

Chinese characters are also generally more dense and complicated than Japanese or Korean.

Writing in japanese & chinese cards is pretty different, also fonts are pretty different, japanese is smaller, while chinese is pretty big and in some cases chunky. Look at few known examples and you will get hang of it pretty fast.

edit. Esper was fast like a Lightning Angel and did everything better. :)

Are these signed by the artist? If so the signature looks very off unless he has changed it in the past 6 months. I have sent cards to him before and he does a very simple small Cliff in cursive.

I am interested in finding an uncut magic sheet from Urza Block or earlier, and was wondering if any of you guys had a good idea where to find such a thing. I know this isn't exactly what the thread is for, but I figured if anyone knew about uncut sheets it would be you guys.

Vintage side events at Gencon are giving away a saga and an antiquities sheet.

Well... it's been awhile since I've posted, mail is taking too long from Europe right now :/

Here is something I just got today to tie you over

I present to you a foil "German" Stomping Ground (silly ebay sellers)

I hope you can see the shuffle crease, it's more noticeable on the back. There was no scan of the back and he did the lighting at the right angle so you couldn't see the crease on the front. Oh well, a Russian foil Stomping Ground is a Russian foil Stomping Ground.

Awesome! Some people are just too stupid.

It's even better than the NM "Revised" Underground Sea I bought 3 years ago on Ebay that said "Tap to add"....
