I would love for that card to become semi-viable too. Problem is even with snow duals, that isn't good. Monocolors decks have it much better (no fetches) and still never run it.
You know what i'd love? If they really printed snow duals, i'd love to see:
Caldera wastes
Land
T: 1
T, sacrifice: destroy target snow-land
And then you'd have a reason to go monocolor again, 16 mountains (or swamps), 8 wastes gg.
You really think that many people that enjoy a format with a few viable decks that change ever couple of month would suddenly permanently jump to a extremly slowly changing format where there are tens of thousands of cards and multiple dozens of decks that you pretty much have to know to suceed in tournaments just because the "entry fee" drops down to 1500$?
Cheap FoW & Wasteland yet rediculously expansive duals? Yay, more merfolk players!
Reprinting just the stuff off the reserved list in a amount large enough amount to significantly lower the prices would definitly tilt the format, but I agree with you, they could reprint stuff off the RL and make mush money with legacy. My point still stands, the only reason WotC isn't making (larger amounts of) money with legacy is because they are stupid.
Oh, and they could lower the prices of duals by making monocolored decks stronger - but MaRo apparantly jumps onto a chair in fear when he smells a card possible attacking manabases.
Falling from heaven is not as painful as surviving the impact.
Karakas, anyone?
With the new legend rules change and IF Theros is "legend centered" as it seems, maybe WotC decides it is too opresive (if you don't play wasteland is very hard to deal with a land)
Are you kidding us?
I don't think it's that farfetched considering this:
"The most notable change for Modern, Legacy, Vintage, and Commander will be that legendary lands will be much more attractive to run in decks. While they still suffer from the drawback of not being able to have more than one in play if you draw multiples, it does make it much easier for decks to run singleton or even a few copies of powerful legendary permanents such as Gaea's Cradle, Karakas, Academy Ruins, or Mox Opal. We will keep a close lookout for the power of these lands in Modern, Legacy, and Vintage, and trust that Commander Rules Committee (who have been previously informed of this change) will keep a lookout for the power level in that format, as well as the power level of commanders that are traditionally difficult to deal with, such as Uril, the Miststalker. It is not currently expected that these rules changes will bring about any changes to the Modern, Legacy, or Vintage Banned and Restricted lists, but we will be keeping a close eye on the formats between the release of Magic 2014 Core Set and Theros, and we will make any changes if they are deemed necessary."

Seriously though, that card just feels so profoundly shitty. Then again blanket shutdowns typically are. At least they're usually used to shut down degeneracy instead of enabling it.

Sweep the leg!
... play more Thalia or Canonist. FFS, it's like no one can read what cards do. Even Notion Thief > Enter the Infinite.

Notion Thief is definitely not > Enter The Infinite in a deck with 12+ cantrips. They'll enter, you'll draw most of your deck if not all, then they'll kill you with any cantrip or just pass the turn and you die if you can't kill them right away.

How many decks running Notion Thief can win in one turn? It's not very likely, but I suppose in some random UB combo shell it could get there...
Not to mention the fact that you may never get that turn. If enter draws your deck then you're actually just dead on the spot.
I stand by my response to your bold statement. Notion Thief is not > Enter The Infinite
EDIT: And no bannings aimed at SNT are in order :)
