Not sure how true that is as I know of several distributors that the game can be purchased from for retailers.

My new Mental Magic Deck. I showed up with this last night and had to prove they were real cards hence the ripped up one to show the middle blue layer of glue. They are blank on front and the back has trademark info for wizards. Not sure what they are from but there was about 200 in a collection I purchased. Used them forever to get people to draw tokens for me.

We normally use those flat marbles to keep track of mana cost since this is the first time anyone actually showed up with a deck to play. I am thinking of dry erase marker on the sleeve to write the card on

I'm not entirely sure, but they look like the white cards that used to or still do possibly come with FNM promos. If they have a normal Magic back then they are probably peeled foils, if they aren't actual magic cards then I'd imagine they are the filler cards that came/come with the FNM promos that stores give out.

This is correct. I have a large stack of them as my buddy who works at my LGS gives all of theirs to me; I use them for proxies.
