Emptying the Warrens: So YOU don't have to!
Languages and dates for every set. For all you true pimps.
I'll ask in our LGS, some dude gots an oriental foil Lili.
But I'm not sure if she's korean or not, as I don't care of foils and thus immediatelly forgot the fact right after I knew it. Also, he's a collector himself, so this little bit sucks,as he might wish to keep her.
Otoh, I know he asked about the prices of the card, so maybe he's willing to sell it. IF I don't forget to ask tomorrow, I'll ask for the details: koreanity of card, (near)mintisness, price, etc.
Did some monster deals recently, might post scans sometime. Even had a 5 figure deal on some cards I'm sure have not been seen on the net, but made a promise to not showcase any (except, potentially one) of them.
One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
lol, if there's ever a cockblock in MTG ^^ that's it
Can you at least see that some never before seen things get on MagicLibrarities or something?
I *don't* think I've seen them on the libraries before. Well just to set things straight, the cards aren't stolen. It's just like if I legitimately bought a Proposal card, I won't splash scans of it everywhere. It was the previous owner's wishes in this case, so I'll just honour it, although from the one I can show, the rest are easy to extrapolate.
Just to not spam, here's a terrible pic of a Llanowar Elves.

Hi fellow pimpers, my friend has set eyes on some japanese, signed and altered (OMG!) Wastelands.
Now, the question is, is the signature real or fake? It does not look like Una Fricker's typical sig but then again, she hasn't signed a lot of cards so there's not too much to compare to.
Help a pimp out!

I just finished my playset a few days ago. I know it's no Beta, but it's mine ;).

"I live my life by three principles: f*ck b*tches, get money, keep seven."
Watermarking is a thing, regardless every time someone posts pictures of a legitimate card like Proposal it gets used in fraudulent auctions/sales - shit is annoying. FWIW, spamming pictures of the card is similar to passing around the name of someone you purchased a bunch of really expensive cards from. Sometimes people don't want to be bothered by randoms asking if they have cards for sale etc, it's just a polite thing to not name names and point fingers.
Hey all, new poster here. Started playing in 1994 but only recently decided that collecting was going to be a real passion / hobby of mine. I was hoping to actually get some advice from some serious collecting pros. I thought my collection grew at a decent rate.. but some of the stuff on this thread has my heart rate racing.
What advice would you give someone who wants to get into collecting seriously? Do you find most your finds on ebay or opens / pro tour stuff. I guess any advice someone would be willing to share.. would be amazing and super helpful to someone who really wants to step up their game.
Any advice for not having the wife lop your head off on MtG purchases is a tough one to crack also
thanks again! love seeing all the fantastic finds!
