Ok, Occam, I get your reasoning. Just try to understand that such a cryptic post of yours is strange. Wouldn't it be better to write nothing? Because I fail to see anything interesting in post without pictures, cards' names, anything. It's like me saying "guys, me and my wife just bought something really expensive, but I can't tell you what". Not exactly thrilling...

Also I simply don't understand where's the trouble with naming of those cads, unless the dealer didn't want even this. (For a reason I also don't get, is it something that rushed from GMO laboratory or what?) But now I simply can't care less, because I'm completely fed up with the whole thing.
Unless you've been a lurker for years, you wouldn't be asking these questions of Occam. Seeing that your account was made last month... I'm going to assume you don't know the extent of Occam's collection and should look through all the pages of this thread before questioning his reasons of not posting pictures.

I, for one, am happy to see him just post, let alone talk about some awesome pickups.

I think the reason has to do with the fact that Wizards did not release these cards, there were "procured" by employees and such. Unique cards could possibly be traced back to the original person and cause them problems. occam has the most pimp items I have ever seen, If they had a Magic: The Gathering exhibit at a museum I would pay to see it if his collection was on display.

    Seconded on that.

Occam, amazing stuff. Those foil alt-frame Islands just made me rock hard.

^^ this too. If the card has been out for years and the public doesn't know about it by now, there is a reason why.

It is 8th and there are at least 10 threads with proper information on librarities but whatever.

All the ass wiping is well deserved but one saying out loud "I got the sweetest thing ever but I can not tell you what it is and you will never ever see it because it was part of the deal not to showcase it" should not wonder too much if people want to see it.
Maybe the one card that will be shown will reveal what it is all about.

True. To some extent. I don't even wanna see that anymore...

You come across as a little bitter. Not only do you stoop to a caricature of what I said, but you don't even do it well. If I can showcase a card, I don't see a reason to act coy. Some of the 8e stuff, Jud stuff, actor cards and 5D prints could have fallen into your category of "sweetest thing ever but I can not tell you what it is and you will never ever see it", and yeah, images and information on these is all over. I've always shared whatever info I had and could.

And funny you mention that site/forum. Quite a bit of the information there was from... ... yeah, me. Snark invites snark, so consider toning down the sarcasm.

True. To some extent. I don't even wanna see that anymore...
Then don't. It's the internet. I can't stop you from being forcibly passive aggressive, I sure as hell can't stop you from not looking at a card I post in the future.

    Occam, I don't get you.
At the beginning I was really interested what might be the cards that might not be named. Seen how this degenerated into stupidity, I decided to not give a fuck about them. Sorry that I've been interested in your shit. It won't happen anymore.

    End of story.

    Hey Occam,

LOL... new people not understanding and thus lashing out at everyone.. isn't that pretty much just the internet everywhere?

As a longtime MtG player/collector/enthusiast I've always loved your posts (here and elsewhere). Been doin' this just for fun for 20 years now - no point in getting wound up over a hobby.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

    Hey thulnath!

I expected to see pictures of cards in this thread, or at least read their names. That's why I became interested in Occam's purchase.
But as he was really cryptic about it, and his other posts about this purchase also provided nothing of interest, I ceased to care, mainly because FOR ME there's nothing to care about.

Btw, Occam, I'm not sure why you think I'm hostile or anything. I just asked what the cards are and was told that they can't be posted nor named. And then I asked if there's at least some possible way to reveal them, e.g. Photoshop the card images so that they can't be used to rip someone. Read your answers...
Is it so hard to understand that there is nothing interesting about the thing? That's when I decided to not care, because FOR ME there's nothing to care about in THIS PARTICULAR AFFAIR. No pictures, no names, and I don't feel like I want to play "what's in my pocket?" game of riddles today, so I moved away from this thing. It's not like I belittle your collection or anything, or that I don't wanna see your future cards, etc.
Once again: I was interested in your stuff, you made it clear you can't reveal it, I made it clear that then there's nothing I can care about, & of story bro, ur cool guy, cya later...

I'm nowhere near Occam's level, but trust me, when you drop k's on cards, the first thing you want to do is showcase them.
If Occam said he can't, there must be a good reason for that. Maybe because the card is easily linkable to the previous owner once shown for some obscure reason, or maybe because the card is Proposal and thus not showable.
    Just don't be a smartass :)

As sure as I am that everyone wants to see my anti pimp loam deck, I cannot post it, but could some one post some more sweet stuff? Tired of the last page and a half of people whining about magic cards not wanting to be shown..

Like has been said, when you drop a ton of cash on a card the first thing you want to do is show it off. I'm sure if he isn't showing it off he has good reason

I'm pretty sure you don't have to comment on every line dropped in this thread. Just take a breather instead of acting like an instigator.

Damnit, I was going to post up a pic of my 8 foil Instigator Gangs, but I can't find them!

(I'm not judging anyone on either side, just thought it would be amusing)

Did the Swiss finally decide to sell that particular world class card?
