Does anyone believe the printing of Show and Tell as a Judge Promo says anything about DCI's intentions regarding Show and Tell as a potential card to ban? The idea being that the DCI wouldn't print Show & Tell as a Judge Promo if they were planning on banning it soon.

I believe that's a generalization and not an apt comparison. The JP Survival of the Fittest released at PT Austin in Oct of 2009. Survival of the Fittest was banned in December of 2010 - due to the interactions with Vengevine and friends, and insufficient or very limited ways to interact with the deck. (Not to mention is was borderline dominate)
I know; I just pointed that the printing as a Judge FOIL doesn't prevent a banning in the Short future, depending on cards which see print.
Dunno, maybe WotC prints an insane Permament in Theros which will get S&T banned or they just pull off crap like the "Gentlemans Agreement"

I just want to see it gone, reason be damned. Though if Emralolol, Griseltard and Omniderp aren't enough already...

As for SnT. Yes I hate it, I would love to see it go. But I do not know when it will be pushed over the edge and banned. I mean if a 15/15, your lose six cards and die is not enough to do it, what will push it over the edge?

with the rise of S&T decks, the printing of abrupt decay, and the extensive grave hate available to all decks (surgical extraction, rest in peace, Deathrite shaman), would it be safe to say that survival should be unbanned now?
I never agreed with it to be banned in the first place, but it seems as though its critical turn for winning was t4 at best. This seems rather slow for the current format. Especially with all the emrakuls and griselbrands going around. ANT is T2-4 (i think) S&T is somewhere between T2-5, High tide is t4+.

why cards are so expensive...hoarders
Survival isn't a combo card, survival go into disruptive decks with lots of creatures like maverick and give them a combo finish. Even without combo finish, it's easy to turn it into super-card advantage. The card may not break the format again, but it would get instantly played in top decks everywhere.
Survival is a repetitive tutor, a toolbox and potential combo-engine for the games #1 powercreep cardtype, all in one card.

While I would also enjoy the unbanning of Survival, I feel i should note that the later lists with Lion Eye's Diamond could put 12 power of hasty Vengevine into play on turn2.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
