2013 I completed my first pimp project, all Korean Goblins. Well, all main deck cards. And there's quite a few that aren't available. Recent pick ups are the Wastelands and Thalias.

Now to work on getting the rest of these signed. #2014

yeah i can see the text, it def looks like lotus petal. I support the Albino. I think that beta duals are nice and pimp but it almost seems like too many people have them now days. Maybe Im just jaded because i patrol this thread but its refreshing to see something more rare than beta/alpha

I just ordered me a 20x set of 4th Korean path forest for my EDH deck. Didn't need 20 but it was sold as a lot. After I get a few more pieces altered maybe I will put it up. I went for english print for everything but my basics so no one in my play group would bitch about not being able to read it.

I have Japanese goblins I posted it a few years ago maybe it is time for an upgrade to Korean. Thinking of all italian for my solidarity so it matches my resets.

What do people think of these two makeshift combos in my storm deck:

Intention is to go all summer on duals (obviously not there yet), and I probably chose the worst bb sea I have for the pic. The albino sea is a favourite of mine, so I intend to include it alongside the summer duals. Besides, it's currently the most expensive card in the deck (and the only white bordered one). Is it better to go with two beta seas to match borders, or let the albino sea stick out like a sore thumb that is worth more than certain decks?

Am pondering this combo, or a similar one for the basics:

The island is one of the most screwed up basics I've seen, and I don't have/can't find a swamp that can live with it and which is legal for play. The swamp is likely a makeshift, the island is a treasure. I'll show you guys some other potential combos with time.

The drit and bs sets are also where I intend to go full misprint -- those are worth waiting for :)

I'll be honest, misprints may be the next level in terms of value and rarity, but I only know that because I follow this thread. I've never seen a misprint like any of those for sale anywhere I've looked, so I have no understanding of the level of pimp. Obviously beta is very pimp. Summer is ugly, but has an awesome story, and everyone has at least heard rumors of how valuable they are. Those misprints? It almost looks like you spilled acetone on the card.

Now don't get me wrong. No one is going to tell you it's not pimp, or that you can't pimp the way that you think is best. But if you're asking for my (our?) opinion, I would stick with Beta. After all, what's the point of pimping if no one knows how pimp you are?

That sea is very clearly not bleached, though. It's probably one of the exhibits to use when explaining why a card isn't bleached. The island's gloss and texture are intact, it's quite easy to see that it hasn't been tampered with. Maybe people will suspect something is up when they see textless duresses and misprinted drits and bs being slung around :)

I can't settle (no pun intended) on a language for Goblins. Pretty sure German and/or T-Chinese are the only language you can get everything in (including ports and Vials). I need 2 more T-Chinese Ringleaders and a set of T-Chinese Incinerators.

I think Mirrodin was the last set in Traditional Chinese until M11 and Scars Block.

So, Vial is only S-Chinese. From before they changed the font, too.
