I hate how I need to sort the cards
It bothers me to meet with people
Long tournaments are so time consuming
Ebay, MKM and such are such a pain in the ass
It's pestering to visit the stores
I dislike to sleeve the cards
Looking through ppl's binders is nuisance
Carrying one's binders is nuisance
Magic is overly expensive hobby

I just hate the tedium of sorting. I really haven't had many bad experiences with the other stuff.
People at Legacy events, even huge ones, tend to be a little older, a little more laid back. The only time I really run into pricks are at competitive limited/standard events.
Trades don't bother me, because I really don't bother unless I know someone is looking for something I'm down to part with. If I trade locally, it's someone I'm on good terms with so we generally work out a fair deal even if prices aren't totally even. I just don't trade eternal/reserved list stuff for Standard things. Like Finn said, just make your position clear from the start and don't feel bad if something doesn't work out.
As for sorting, part of me wants to go back to the old days of just "sort by color/rarity, jam in a box" rather than trying to alphabetize and get rid of excess copies, but then finding anything when you need it is such a pain.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel
"Notions of chance and fate are the preoccupation of men engaged in rash undertakings."
Trading sucks depending on who you do it with. But i have recently found that selling and then buying is much easier. I'm fine with the "value" traders as long as we both are in agreement as to what is going on. Dont try to pull it on me halfway through the trade.
And Legacy players are generally fine. I have no issues with my general crowd. Even Star City events in legacy tournaments I think I have only met 2 guys who I didn't like too much (one being the guy who said "fuck this game" after I T1 Knight of the Reliquary and T2 Chalice for 1 vs his delver deck, the other just being a prick).
My biggest complaint at this point really is just that my area has no big tourneys outside of SCG's despite having a very large player base :(
Also I just saw the poll about long tourneys... Those are the most fun to me! It gives me a reason to play against (hopefully) a bunch of different decks!
The only thing I hate is when people bitch about being mana screwed after keeping a 6 or 7 card hand. Then when I remind them of the thing called a mulligan their response is always "Well I can't possibly win with 5 cards to your 7". No morons, you can't possibly win keeping a one lander in Theros draft. I've won a game of Legacy on a mull to 3, and I've won in draft quite a few times on a mull to 4. Most players I watch will never go below 5 cards and then they cry about having to mull so much after keeping a garbage hand.
TL;DR- Learn how to fucking mulligan.
Agree on both of these. We're hopefully on the way to bigger events now that there are two weeklies again. We'll see how things go.
Long tournaments are fun to me but I can see how it would wear on people. I love playing counterbalance for 10 hours, but maybe I'm a bit strange...
Pretty much any time I have to block I get bummed out.
The guy that runs the drafts at Zombie Planet is a waste. He smells terrible (even for a nerd), he doesn't know any rules so it's basically a free for all, and he talks like a jerk ass eighth grader.
Incompetent judges. Judges that make jokes while they are giving you a ruling during a serious tournament. Judges that make tons of god awful nerd jokes.

The fact that you should get DQ'd because dumbfuck opponent didn't rtfc and can't figure out that high tide is symmetrical.
The fact that you can get banned for life for striking someone, but cheating all day every day gets you like 18 months.
The whole "gentleman's" mentality (can't think of a better name?). OH GEEZ, UR PLAYING EGGZ, WHAT AN AZZHOLE, PLAY A REAL DECK. WINTER ORB??? ******!!
Thieves. The fact that there are probably thieves on this very board. The fact that some poor bastard got killed for his collection.
Hiding the fact that I play this shit from my non nerdy friends. Hiding the amount I've paid for this shit from my nerdy friends.
People that play slow as fuck. Especially if it's because they're wicked high while still in contention.
Most tournaments don't have the space needed for the amount of players. Some locations do have enough space, they just do a poor job of allocating it.
Good ol' gamer smell
I feel like a lot of times I'll try to buy a soda during a tournament and get cut in line. Get your head out of your ass.
I think it's real bad that hatebears.dec is a viable strategy. The way shit is going hatebears are only going to get stronger, while the hated aren't really getting any tools to deal with the fuckers (does this make sense?)
Overly chatty, but unfriendly opponents. Cocaine?
Getting fucked by breakers is always gross. Especially when you're like X-1-1.

What do I love about Magic?
The Community.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Ive never been censored. I personally don't hide it from my non magical friends. I just dont give a shit. And Im fine with telling them about how I own almost 2k worth of cardboard (LOOK AT ME SO MUCH COMPARED TO YOU GUIZZZ I BET). It's whatever. I have unfortunately told friends that I don't feel like going out to watch a falcons game because I have a magical tournament that demands my presence. According to them I am quite the raging homosexual.![]()
exhausting inefficient time consumption
- basically any serious interaction with cards, this includes most of the OP and Scrooge Mcduck card diving
+ continuous struggle between hatered, disgust and passion for the game as I strongly dislike its development trend
+ looking at new border cards (and now again)
+ dealing with idiots
Doing business without professionals, whether that's trading or buying/selling. Basically, the player to player economy is really shoddy, even amongst friends.
[cue anecdotes]
-When I first started off, I bought a casual spider deck from a friend for $20. Needless to say, the only playable cards in it were basic Forests.
-Trading is an absolute nightmare.
-Why would I barter with other players when I could just promote my LGS while getting discounts and such for other materials? Seriously, I think I've got about $100 worth of free sodas, sleeves, etc. just by getting what I need at the store.
I think my biggest grievance is speculation on the "MTG Stock Market". It's a giant circlejerk where people think listening to a podcast or reading Quiet Speculation makes them a big player, when in reality, the market is completely controlled by the big players like Starcity. All this speculation does is train people to snapbuy cards in huge quantities based on "generally" uneducated opinions. 2.4% increase? Better pull out the fucking credit card and artificially inflate card prices.
I have no problem with cards being expensive and I understand businesses need to make money. I have a problem with neckbeards thinking they are making Wall Street style, legitimate investments in a children's card game.
EDIT: also mtgsalvation. fuck that place.
I hate people who 'value trade'. I mean ... it's a synonym for not give you what your cards are worth.
I hate people who trade period. It's miserable. Except RHBM.
I hate people who play legacy and complain about not knowing what cards do. Fuck you. It's legacy.
I hate people who immediately after I cast one spell or play one land as a special action announce some deck I'm playing the CSV or RSV or another internet hero of theirs wrote about.
I hate Griselbrand.
I hate revised cards.
I hate standard.
I hate sealed.
I hate wind drake.
I hate stuff like Fiendslayer Paladin. It's an open letter to the standard sheep that they have to buy a shitty version of an old card -- just because -- rape you for your dollars.
I hate poor people who play magic. If you're poor go do something that contributes to you not being poor and stop complaining about not being able to read my signed Russian Bobs.
I hate modern masters.
I hate Emrakul.
I hate people who think a GG is an Emrakul or Griselbrand cheated into play. I don't care that you re doing it because it's all you know how to do, or you want to win but I mean ... we didn't have an interesting game so don't extend the shake. I'll tell you to choke on a herpes sandwich.
I hate signatures in black sharpie.
I hate punishing fire.
I used to hate Tarmogoyf, but then they printed Griselbrand and Emrakul.
I hate that Black Vise is banned.
I hate the internet.
I love you Sean.

Shit man, you need more beer.
Oh and other than Wind Drake, Goyf and Vise, I agree with you on pretty much everything.
I hate the smell.
