I remember when you could buy duals for 40kr (about 7$) in the local gaming-store… Sad times.

I hate to be "that guy" but those aren't Korean. Korean 4th ed forests have the "tap to add {G} to your mana pool" on one line, it doesn't wrap around. I'm pretty sure the lands in your photo are Japanese. Still pimp, but not Korean.

I've had it fully foiled for awhile now. I recently picked up the 2nd FBB Bayou to finish the MD and a pair of foily Meekstones to finish the SB. But for my Forests I'm using the MPS Ravnica lands with the guild emblems on them. I could probably put more effort into pimping those but I like them and although they are relatively cheap, people aren't used to seeing them.

Once I stumble upon some extra money I'll go for foil Lorwyn Thoughtseizes. But those damn things are hard to find so there's no rush on those.

    What are you working on?

I remember the main deck, just curious about other goodies for the deck :)

Currently working on finishing Beta duals. getting closer and closer. After that, Beta P9. After that, Guess it's time for me to actually play magic :P Might start pimping out TES again. I have a spreadsheet of the price for German foil elves. Might take that challenge.

When you're ready for the Lor Thoughtseizes, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

As a great lover of any deck green, I must say it: pretty nice Forests you have there! Congrats!

I guess I will never get the Forests (and Plains) I need for my first pimp project. It seems like it's easier to acquire a Mox Emerald than a particular non-foil basics, as they are too usual for anybody to throw them on the net... I think that I'll get the 4ED ones for now, until someone somewhere opens a pack of japanese Invasion.

    My wife painted it.

Next weekend she is going to start on a black lotus and then each of the moxen and branch out from there. Her goal is to do 12 pieces by the end of the year, each a different magic card art or her take on it at least. Other then my Icy each piece will be for sale about a month after they are done. I know with oils it sometimes takes at least that long to dry if not longer. The Icy is acrylics and I think the power is all going to be a mix of oil and acrylic. I am going to start working next week on some tokens I just picked up 500+ blank playing cards to work with and a new set of sharpies and paint pens.

Note to self, slap a ring on the finger of an artist.

Thanks! Well, I used to be in contact with a lot of artists and where that was not possible I went to look for people with the same hobby and trade signed cards.

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

I acheived my goal for 2013.

40 Shocks, (not a huge deal but eventually I will have at least 1 signed from each of the original series as well as the new series - so far only a few are signed).

40 Fetches, (none signed so far; but my goal is to get them all signed through trades if possible or contacting the artists as Markers has done)

40 Duals, (some signed, some altered, some FBB; with eventual goal to have 1 signed, 1 altered, 1 Revised, and 1 Unlimited/FBB/Beta/Alpha for each set)

I know that this is no great feat compared to some guys in here; but consider that I have attained these through commissions and trades and not very many purchases so I am quite happy with the collection so far.

I am also very open to anyone that wishes to do trades to help me keep pimping the Real Estate out, or if they have ways to contact the artists I would also appreciate any info/help they can offer me.

Oh and nice to see how this thread just keeps having more and more super nice stuff to view in it.
    Cheers
