Serious suggestion here: why not ban Precursor Golem? It's similar to Worldgorger Dragon in terms of literally breaking the game and forcing a draw: all it takes is for two of them to hit the field and for a spell to target one of them, causing the other to be targeted as well, cauing the first to be targeted again, and so on and so on.

Either that or unban Worldgorger Dragon.

Nope. Otherwise storm card copies would trigger storm which would trigger storm which... Copied cards are put on to the stack and you choose targets.

Brainstorm by a mile. It's by far the best and most dominant card in Legacy, any other card on that list is a joke in comparison. However, over the years I have learned that some things never change in Legacy. Among them are the butthurt "ban LED because combo" suggestions, which show obvious lack of understanding of both the format and its history.

Agreed. LED is nowhere near comparable.

I predict that fake Chinese prints will get banned.

Led won't be banned until fow is banned and brainstorm would be banned before that, but I would speculate that both fow and led would be a lot worse without brainstorm.

Id be curious to see if giving ponder the ax would nerf blues format dominance while allowing brainstorm to still be played. preordain will fill the cantrip slot and make brainstorm decks rely heavily on fetches for their shuffle effects. I think most people agree blue has an unfair portion of the format with the flip side being the card is unique and vital to keeping combo decks in check. But who knows I think its safe to say b.s. is not going anywhere.

yeah.... but none of those cards - SFM or TNN is banworth i think...
And SCG (AKA "MTG Mafia") tourneys shouldn't be the only source to gather data. lol
