Yeah, I suspect that WotC occasionally browses forums, so hopefully some of the better ideas will show up eventually.
Speaking of which, rather than ban Show and Tell, I'd rather just see something like a Grafdigger's Cage and Phyrexian Revoker mashup. For example....

Creature cards may not enter the battlefield unless cast from a players' hand.
2/1
Maybe power it up a little by changing it to all permanents rather than just creatures. Possibly change its cost toor even
, but colorless is likely safe. Maybe give it First Strike or Flash, especially if you restrict its casting cost a little more.
Are you aware that no one was even calling for Mystical Tutor or Survival to be banned at the time?
I always find this pretense people put on of pretending that no card should ever be banned and that anyone who says otherwise is a whiner to be kind of laughable. Do you take yourself seriously making posts like this? Were you in the crowd defending Skullclamp and Jace in T2, Flash and Mental Misstep?
For my confessions, they burned me with fire/
And found I was for endurance made
A lot of the people are whiners. Too often people make knee-jerk denouncements based on an SCG Top 8 or their personal experience with a new/powerful card rather than looking at the card/metagame objectively.
Sometimes WotC prints new cards that are actually relevant, but rather than waiting for the metagame to fully adjust, the same group of habitual Chicken Littles spend weeks circlejerking in the B/R thread. As for cards that have been long term facets of Legacy, some cards are just good and see play. Calling for a ban because a card has been good forever is ridiculous. 1.5 has a high skill/powerful level and if people can't stand that, the format isn't for them.
Top 4 of SCG Atlanta is RUG Delver, BUG Delver, UWr Delver, Infect? It's getting silly up in hizzle...

Yup. UG Infect. Also, there's an infection of Delver & TNN in Atlanta.

why cards are so expensive...hoarders
If anything that has warped the meta is a one CMC 3/2 flyer for a color that was primarily used as support.
I think shutting down Sneak and Show was kind of the point, heh.
But if you want it to only hit Show and Tell decks, you could try "cards can't enter the battlefield from players' hands." (obviously there would be reminder text to specify that casting a creature makes it enter from the stack) That turns off both Show and Tell and Sneak Attack.
Apparently you rarely play with Miracle cards. The miracle mechanic is a very real drawback. I've definitely lost games because Miracles got stuck in my hand, which is especially true for mulligans. You also have to consider that the sweeper is not asymmetric, which requires more design constraints than just "use top!"
Actually, both warped the meta and we do have the numbers on that.
Blue representation permantently went from ~50% to ~60% somewhere in the wake after Innistrad, with Delver being the main cause.
TNN now just adds up and pushes the blue numbers even further. In this week's Open, we're back to 7/8 (87,5%) and 13/16 (81.25%) Brainstorm decks, and one of those threee decks is Painter.
@jtos84: Terminus? C'mon - it's a stupid design, but the real trouble are the ways to set it up. Without BS, alot of its power would go away sind they would be left with SDT and Jacestorm.
Well shutting down shenanigans (Show and Tell in particular) is the point. Cards in Legacy must either be so singularly powerful that they warrant notice or else have wide enough applications to excel in a multitude of matchups. Merely stopping Show and Tell is too narrow. Give me a bear that hits Show and Tell, Natural Order, and graveyard tomfoolery and now we are talking about something playable. Like I said, colorless is potentially not the best option. White (or double) seems like a good place for this card, but I could see a case for
or something.
