I could be wrong, I was going off This
According to the Gatherer there is Russian Coldsnap...

That's what I was going off of, but have yet to see any pimp counterbalance. RAV (2005) block was printed in Russian which led me to assume Coldsnap (2006) followed suit.

    Gatherer is not entirely accurate.

No Sterling Grove Japanese printings listed here.... Hareruya has had Japanese Groves for sale and I've never seen them sell fakes.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No Russian Coldsnap, otherwise I'd have Russo C'Balances.

    Japanese Invasion exists.

Gatherer is wrong, I'm right. etc.

Okay, good to know it wasn't me just going crazy. A TON of Chinese printings are missing as well. Both Simplified and Traditional. Wizards really needs to step up their game on Gatherer.

You're right, gatherer sucks. I've been working on a spreadsheet with information about when sets are released and in what languages. Here's a link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Feel free to leave some comments if you think something is wrong or shitty. As far as sources, mostly the Librarities threads and pages for the obscure stuff. Wikipedia for after 8th ed.
Languages and dates for every set. For all you true pimps.

Sorry to derail the thread a ton, but great link. I may contribute at some point. Probably going to HK and Japan again this summer so I'll add anything I find with pic proof etc then.

I see you have Chronicles listed there with a Japanese release. I had exactly one pack of Chronicles a relative bought me as a gift way back in the day that I'm pretty sure is/was Chinese, not Japanese. If I remember, I'll post some scans later - but I do still have what I think is a Chinese black-bordered Dakkon Blackblade, Urza's Mine (sphere art) and Petra Sphinx that I haven't been able to find any evidence were ever printed in Chinese or even Japanese. I've been mildly curious if they're actually legitimate cards for a while now, so if anyone has any insight I would definitely appreciate it.

I'm super sad that Conspiracy isn't being printed in German. Guess that saves me the trouble of tracking down German foils...
What it takes to be a pimp:
    1. Knowing the right people.
    2. Have the money
Not one or the other, but both.

You are wrong, spare yourself the hustle.

Japanese only. You got one in the Vanguard gift box along with some other various language packs. At the time they were fairly sought after, the City the Blood Moon and the Erhnam, not sure any of them are desirable anymore. Maybe if you were into non-foil Jap with old-borders -- it's the only Blood Moon and City of Brass of that ilk.

That explains why my Japanese City of Brass with the right art were so damn hard to find!

Thanks for the info - I did have a couple other random language packs too, I've got an Italian Arcane Denial floating around in an EDH deck somewhere, and a German Land Tax that makes me happy in a special kind of way. I guess that explains the one random Vanguard avatar I've had in my collection for as long as I can remember too...

I actually am somewhat interested in it - having one Japanese BB Urza's Mine in my modern UW Tron deck seriously makes me want more. I've never seen them for sale anywhere...but I haven't exactly looked that hard either since pimping out a modern deck I sometimes play isn't exactly high up on my "shit to spend money on" list. Out of curiosity since you guys are way more into this stuff than I've ever been: where would I find more?

I have saved searches on ebay for various cards I'm looking for. They pop up from time to time. I seem to recall a set of japanese BB Tron lands being available a while back, but I never pulled the trigger on them. Not sure if they're still around.

Additionally, if you find someone on ebay who's got similar stuff to what you're looking for, you can always message them and ask about specific cards. I've dug up a number of awkwardly hard to find cards that way (non-foil japanese legacy staples are sometimes harder to find than the foil versions, for example, I had to specifically have someone in Japan hunt down my Rite of Flames and Desperate Rituals).

Without naming sites (not sure if it's allowed), there's a few JP sites that sell singles overseas and have a huge selection of Japanese cards, including those that don't show up on eBay often.

Aside from more duals (?) the only thing I saw was Time Spiral.

    Very nice deck. :)

Sweet Deutsche Doomsday ... somebody had some altered german Doomsdays that had nuclear apocalypse themed art, they were insane. I have a Zeitspirale somewhere.

Got some stuff signed at this useless sealed GP in Atlanta ...

Also ... Dega has been running hot here in the ATL
