Thread: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

Hey guys, thought I'd share what I've been working on. BUG Delver with bottom row being sideboard. Trying to have a Russian/German theme, I think RUS looks amazing. If it's available in RUS it goes in, if not then it's GER but I may change it to Japanese later. I'm still missing RUS/GER fetches and GER FBB bayous.

REALLY sick, I personally prefer Chinese to Japanese or Korean because it's all Kanji without the annoying Okurigana or superscript "helpers" in the card title space.

Nice BUG, Russian fetches are getting tough to find ... I need to get 2 more Russian Liliana's or 2 more Korean Liliana's (or trade my 2 Korean Liliana's for 2 Russian ones)

Finally found the token to go with my playmat. It's the only card from Terminator CCG to actually feature Arnold.

Fucking A it is. Always seemed like there are games when you get mana and can't find the threat. With Wurm every fetch land, crop rotation, trinket mage, e-map is potentially a 9/5 trample (in 3 of those cases with Flash).

Never knew about that wurm. Sick tech!
What it takes to be a pimp:
    1. Knowing the right people.
    2. Have the money
Not one or the other, but both.

This will be both an economically feasible AND sensible move.

For a deck named tusk post that regularly can ramp up to 5 mana easily that deck sure lacks Tusk.

Edit: would love to see someone get blown to shreds by Bane of Progress. I thought that card was going to be an Elves SB staple. I forgot MUD is about .5% of the meta.

I was reading the German text and swore I must have been interpreting 'aus deiner Bibliothek speilen' wrong. Then I read the oracle text. I had no idea a card like that had been printed.
    Tusk up.
(Not so) Current Decks: GB Elves, GW Maverick, GWb Maverick, LED Dredge, ANT, TES, Jund Storm.

Tough. But also fair. I could cut a mage maybe ... but they are pretty good. I'm not cutting Krosan Wayfarer ... if only because Emrakul / Karakas infinite time walk and just attacking your opponent to death 1 point at a time is too strong. Also why is a Wayfarer a Wanderer in German?

    Whats about the signet Forces?

Why they are diffrent to the common Therese Nielsen Signature?

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

That's her old signature. She has hence changed it to be bigger and fancier. Actually old school sig ones are pretty cool, or double signed old/new. Or triple signed old/new/Bruce Willis signed.

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

    @thegrinningdemon

Your posts in the pimp thread always blow me away. What a powerful deck; that's going to put someone on tilt if it's across the table! The condition of your Beta cards is just phenomenal.
While your deck is vintage, it reminded me of this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ha62Io1D8g...-FreeSpace.jpg

I had been playing Melira in modern when I asked Marta Molina to alter my Korean Deathrites. However, DCI decided to ban Deathrite in modern in the meantime, so now I'm forced to play Deathblade. :) I asked her to alter my lone Grim Lavamcer. Cedric Phillips was on top of my mind.
