    Freaking amateur hour over here.

Good for Pikula getting a second bye essentially. He's one of the good guys in the game so i'll always wish him well and cheer him on.
He had 2 probes, so why should he discard them?

Yes he double probed turn after, btw there are still a shitload of missplays going on, like sac nether second for no reason in G2...

Yeah i don't think he's actually read Nether Shadow fully, cause he's missplayed it and miss ordered it at every possible point.

Agree despite playing miserable Delver I'd love to see him top 8 the GP if I can't have my top 8 of

    1 Dragon Stompy
    1 Moat Stompy
    1 Braids Stompy
    1 Cavern of Humans
    1 Drake Stompy
    1 Hydraball
    1 DragonStorm
    1 Cavern of Bringers

    That Keranos FTW.

Also, telling people to kill themselves for playing Magic isn't really funny if you were that guy.

    Re: GP New Jersey

Turtenwald playing the hype with UR delver.
Dies 2-0 thanks to life gain.

In game 2 I'm pretty sure he had lethal as his opponent was holding only one relevant card: daze with a Tapped deathrite shaman at 5 life, while owen had two lightning bolts 3 lands and a brainstorm. He choose to cast brainstorm instead of firering the two bolts.
What would you do in that situation? do you play around spell pierce or force of will (and loose like he did) or try to kill on the spot? Of course being on the draw, there are more chances that the esper deathblade guy has sidedout dazes...

I saw that too but i was thinking i didnt saw correctly because there is no reason to not play third land and just double bolt.

So are you sure he had 2 bolts?
I think i saw a bold and a chain lightning but seems so strange that he played that hand in that way

Maybe he didnt knew a card and he played around Spell Pierce? (He could bolt the body after pierce on smash to prevent more gainlife, but bolting into face he was KO in case of Pierce)

I should start watching the stream :S (or to be specific, the chat :D )

Most of the times, the twitch chat is the most awesome thing from a coverage :D

    Greetings,
    Kathal

PS: Was there any good game until now? Had stuff to do and watched Madrid, so I couldn't watch Legacy :(

Bolt or chain lightning would have the same result. He could do it on his turn.
Yeah my guess is he would more likely be playing around spell pierce. Some people like siding out dazes on the draw.
Anyway, there's a deathrite shaman active, so i guess he should have tried...

That's not hard when they show a Brainstorm-based counter shell/Delver basically every goddamn round.

That's quite astounding to see all Pros playing some sort of delver brew...
but from what i saw: Nass loses to Miracles, Turtenwald looses to Esper deathblade and Sam black just barely won game 2 vs storm which had win the first game... Nice delver choice :)

That's definitely an...interesting keep. Unfortunate triple-IT draw from storm there.
