I'm out of the pimp game but I picked up a few things at NJ.

First, a lot of vendors had binders of foreign or signed cards marked cheap because they're harder to move. This pile cost me a grand total of five dollaridoos:

Finally, something I'd been wanting to add to my collection for a while but couldn't justify the cost of. Was picking up a bunch of foil fetches for a friend, so I got a dealer to give me a steep discount on this guy, who I'll likely never play:

These aren't 4th Edition basics. My guess is they are 5th Edition. Japanese was first printed in 4th Edition and as is policy WoTC printed it in black border.

They are either 4th Ed or 2 player starter (they look exactly the same). 5th edition had DIFFERENT ART... Also, Japanese 4th Ed was available in both WB and BB, the former being rarer due to people wanting nothing to do with WB cards (the racists!). Come on guys, just do a tiny bit of research before correcting others >.>

That's a clean djinn. You'll find a way to sneak him into a storm sideboard as your 15th card. Game 2, Land, Petal, Ritual .... Juzam.

I need some help with Pyroblast. It looks like I have to play the damn card and need suggestions on a pimp version. 5th ed jap seems to be the most pimp but white bordered in a black bordered deck seems awful. Also, I dont do signed cards.

Do you know the 5d simplified Chinese pyroblast with "v-symbol" （Roman number 5）on it？I think it may be more rare than japanese one.

I have no idea how much they are actually worth, but they seem to be quite hard to find (and there are fakes around).

I have no idea what it's actually worth but CardMaster's price on it was $15. I considered the novelty worth that price regardless of the piece's actual value.

He definitely will get slotted into my EDH deck just for an excuse to play him. I may cut a random card in Bx decks just to confuse people.
