signatures are ONLY valuable if you value them yourself or can find the right person to buy / trade them to. Ebay (the market) would indicate that signatures do not add noticeable value. Generally, in my experiences, dealers treat signatures as inked and value them less.

why cards are so expensive...hoarders
You are really scraping for a few dollars after you consider that if you want to realize the value you'll have to sell them in a specialty group and can't just ship them to a dealer. Are you that poor to justify the effort and pain? Also, you'll have to stare at it and remember that although you don't like signed cards you got a miserable card like show and tell signed in the desperate hope of squeezing a few more dollars out of it if you sell it years down the road.
Anyway, his signature is large and it will cover the bottom of your sorceries.

Given the fact that i play the Show and Tells in my main (and only, at least competitive) legacy deck, OmniTell, i'll keep them clean for now. Even reading the other answers this seems the right thing to do in my situation.
Ye that's what i thought too. No i'm not that poor. Ye that makes no sense indeed. I don't see Show and Tell as "miserable" cause i really like it, it's effect and the deck where i play it (OmniTell), but that's another story...
Reread what I wrote.
Because selling to dealers is always the best EV. Feel free to ship me all of your signed high end foils at lower than buy list prices because they are "inked". I've yet to encounter a single person worth my time that demanded I offer my cards at a lower price because they are signed. If you deal in high end cards signatures are valued.

It's really worth your time to actually pick up a decent paint marker for signatures as it looks infinitely better then a lot of the markers artists have on them. Obviously shit signatures with garbage markers will devalue a card.
I'm working on making TES all foil Japanese signed. I'm currently at 42/75. I usually do a yearly post as my progress, if I ever get my stuff back from Pete Venters I'll post it.
Awesome.
In the age of social media people seem to really underestimate audience size within the context of selling cards. I cannot fathom why people still use MOTL over Facebook for selling cards. At least Magic Card Market offers some increasingly irrelevant perks. It's not difficult to find buyers for high end signed cards that are willing to pay a premium for a nice signature. There's also major value to be had after an artist expires.
I'm asking that all of my artist signatures are in black as well. I like consistency.
Speaking of "Artist expires", I believe everyone is still alive. Minus one of the cards I use as a sideboard divider, Cheatyface (Doug Chaffee). I'm on the lookout for a foil signed one in black, I have very low hopes though.
Preview post: I will be needing a scanner for it.
It will contain a lot of really round corners, and feature some of the most expensive tournament legal cards on the planet.

Karns aren't in a deck right now. Still working on something. This was what I played at SCG Richmond:
Yes, I am missing 2 foils Moms. I got rid of my Japanese foil ones a while back and never really tried to get them again.
Creatures and equipment.
Lands.
Sideboard. Blank sleeve is a Containment Priest which I also don't own and had to borrow.
Voice of Resurgence was awesome all day. I think for the next Invitational I might put it in a normal Maverick shell. Bitterblossom was pretty sweet as a constant pressure against miracles.
First you buy a house, then 10 Guru? Nice....

It's situational. Depends on the card, depends on the degree of the miscut, depends on how many you can find. That last one especially for me. For example, with those you posted, I'd still run my FBBs. Though the two are pimp as fuck, they're still core set, not exceptionally miscut, and you don't have access to a full set. I might use the REB, but only if I needed a single copy, and it would depend on how well the border matches the rest of the deck.
It's more difficult for me to sell signed Alpha/Beta duals or Power 9 than non-signed ones, both at GP's and on Ebay. They are at least much less liquid. Some people are willing to pay some premium for them (mainly "pimp" players), but dealers and some collectors offer less for them. Cards that are not only signed but also altered by the artist are even harder to sell (but again, a very small amount of people are willing to pay much more for them, like for the altered Terese Nielsen Forces of Will).
As an Alpha collector I also prefer non-signed over signed.
It's true what you're saying, for cards worth more than ~100€ a signature may decrease it's price, as better is the condition of that card, more value will be lost with a signature. But this is the extreme case, for the rest of the cards a signature from the artist will always increase the price, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on how hard is that signature to find and the base price of the card.
