"You can't attack" seems redundant when we play 4 Terminus.

Treasure Cruise is banned. Will this bring us one step back, to no Blasts maindeck again?

Yeh I would probably just play one now. Although it's reasonable to cut them all md too.

REB has been good enough for a long time. I was playing one before Cruise, and considering upping to two.

While Miracle was one of the best decks earlier, it is now back at the well deserved throne. Oh, I'm feeling so good right now.

    Re: [DTB] Miracle Control

So, assuming BUG is back on the rise now, with Shardless and Deathblade and other midrange strategies in an infinitely better spot, what kind of premium do we place on slower cards of our own? Do we want some Digs in the main? Any slower creatures? Or do you believe 4-Ponder, bare essentials Miracles is still the best way to play the game?

How do you feel the Ponder/Legends/whatever you call Reid Duke's list differences stack up with DTT in the meta but not Cruise?

    Re: [DTB] Miracle Control

So Phillip, correct me if I'm wrong:

The Delver decks of last week had Treasure Cruise, which itself wasn't even that good, but likely allowed them to win some games where Treasure Cruise gets them the last few points they need to kill Miracles.

Now that they've lost Cruise and Miracles still has DTT, how can you possibly lose now? Please explain.

I'll do so in an article that will be published on SCG the week before SCG Indy.

Hint: It's pretty hard, lol. And we don't even need Dig Through Time to reign the format. :)

EDIT: Feel free to post any questions here so I have the chance to answer them in depth in the article, for everyone to benefit from it.

Design a deck that crushes Miracles. Winning against anything is irrelevant.

With the expected rise in BUG Delver/Shardless again, are you considering going back to 3 MD counterbalance? :)

Wizard pulled a Massive Undo, as if GP NJ was just a dream. Now we are reverted back to the days of fighting DRS, Liliana, Stifle, and Wasteland, people rejoice. No, I'm not happy to see Mongoose again.

I don't understand why you are so happy of black back.

Blue was counterable for 1 mana and recoverable with Snapmage.. Liliana requires Vendilion back

    Re: [DTB] Miracle Control

Yeah agree. The meta with Treasure Cruise was the best meta for Miracles. The meta before was great for Miracles, but there were some bad MU's (Shardless BUG). In the Treasure Cruise meta there weren't any bad MU's.

After straying into Delver and Blade variants I'm back to Miracles again after the banning. Hail Miracles, back to the it's rightful place as the overlords of legacy!!!

Seriously through, I've been deciding between 2 Digs or 2 Cliques MD. Not quite sold on either yet.

My one and a bit pennies:

    Permanents: 13
    4 Sensei's Divining Top
    4 Counterbalance
    2 Snapcaster Mage
    3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor

    Spells: 26
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Ponder
    1 Preordane
    1 Red Elemental Blast
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    2 Counterspell
    4 Force of Will
    4 Terminus
    2 Entreat the Angels

    Lands: 21
    2 Plains
    4 Island
    1 Arid Mesa
    4 Flooded Strand
    4 Scalding Tarn
    1 Polluted Delta
    2 Tundra
    3 Volcanic Island

    Sideboard
    1 Envelop
    2 Flusterstorm
    2 Red Elemental Blast
    1 Counterspell
    1 Council's Judgment
    1 Wear // Tear
    1 Supreme Verdict
    1 Entreat the Angels
    1 Engineered Explosives
    1 Relic of Progenitus
    1 Rest in Peace
    2 Vendilion Clique

We were the best deck before Cruise, during Cruise we got better, and now we're in almost the exact same position. I expect Sneak to see more play, as it's the best Dig deck.
