This is one of the weakness of ur-omni. Yes, it has 7 SnT, but it also is less resilient to dedicated hate. I also strongly dislike BWish in Omnitell. Not blue, not instant, not finding anything relevant beyond SnT. For two mana we need to get more.

Enter the Infinite and Diabolic Tutor.

Cunning and Burning Wish are good here because they allow you to both look for pieces and close the game with Ominiscience in the field.

I take it 3 Ancient Tombs instead of 3 City of Traitors is a bad idea? To much life loss? If so, I'll be using Crystal Veins until I can get the Cities.

I prefer Lotus Petal over all of them

BWish is just nuts. It helps you assemble show+omni (which cwish doesnt) and if you alraedy have a omniscience in play it fetchs enter the infinite/spiraling embers. The only downside is failing to win vs ashen rider, but on the upside you can win through Iona for blue, which monou cant fight unless you have the emrakul in hand.

Opponent's Wasteland, Stifle and Blood Moon. Especially Delver, Painter-Stone, Merfolk and Death & Taxes MUs.

The BW version is too slow in my opinion. It also cannot stop shit like flikerwisp

Having never really played the deck, this is my understanding of it:
    - EtI and Emrakul can, to an extent, substitute and complement each other. Both are really good at being played off Omni and then getting parlayed into a victory.
    - EtI is better with Dream Halls in the deck, but it seems few people play that these days.
    - OP notes that Emrakul is a great plan for hatebears, it also seems very good agaisnt countermagic, especially with Boseiju.
    - However, reliance on Emrakul (and a lack of Dream Halls) can leave you open to incidental things that randomly stop your combo, especially with no EtI to grab all your Cunning Wishes.
    - While great bombs, these cards can be dead draws and you can at least YOLO a SnT when you're holding an Emrakul
    - Numbers seem to be all over the place, I've seen lists with 4 of each, 1 of each, just Emrakuls, just EtI, and everything in between. This perplexes me, given that it seems so important to optimize both the number of live cards pre-combo, and the access to win-con setups post combo.

So, I'm wondering, how do you decide what config to run, and what sort of gains/losses do you get from given proportions? I would have to guess the only explanation for lists being all over the palce isthat there could also be some meta-dependency to it, or some other main/side deck correlation I missed from not really knowing this deck.

SnT -> Emri is the worst play in the deck, as meta get used to defend against this typical Sneak'n'Show action. He still is our primary way to victory, but he better just sit somewhere in the library all alone before Omniscience get into play.
That means only 5 completely uncastable on their own cards. Pretty neat for me.
I can understand not wanting a lot of dead cards, so I can understand the 0-1 Emrakul/0-1 EtI builds. Do you miss a lot from not having EtI to set up the Release the Ants/Lab Man kills and do you have trouble ever finding the singleton Emrakul, though? I'm thinking that balance is likely the factor that most influences peoples choices. Is there anyone running 4+ EtI/Emrakul total that could comment on their thought process for that? I think Lejay's last big list for the deck had 2 Emrakul and 3 EtI (no intuition to go with that, though), is anyone else running a win-con heavy list like that?

No problems at all. Post-Omni every cantrip in my hand is EtI, as it replaces itself with another one and so on until I find Emri or Wish. It wasn't so strong until KTK and DtT printing, of course, but now you look for free in 7 cards and get two: wincons or more DtT and cantrips. Emri+3 Wishes is 4 Emris, that's enough with 17 cantrips/tutors.
For Ant-kill I use FF - quick, reliable and easy kill (I also use FF for the second Emri attack, if needed).

I would like to see Lejay's tips for his victorious build also.

I'm guessing you're talking about Firemind's Foresight here. In finding another Cunning Wish you get access to Noxious Revival for another draw > attack, but how do you set up an Ant kill? Is it just using the Impulse + Ponder/Brainstorm to set up Ants?

Put a card on top of your deck so you don't deck if you had to draw the whole deck to Emrakul

Oh, I see. I assumed you meant if they had lethal on the swing back. This is why I play 4 Omni/2 Emrakul. Show->Emrakul is very good. Omni->Enter w/2 Emrakuls is infinite turns.

I play 2 Lim-Dul's Vault in main to find combo pieces pre combo and put emrakul on topdeck for Ants)
Second attack usually made by saccing Emri to Therapy flashback and FF works here as the second Eladamri's Call (Call is shuffled into the library and becomes that 2-mana instant for FF).

I don't think you need 2 lim duls

you can play lim duls then you Cunning wish FF for the two of.

then play it for the win con.

Then again, why Lim duls when you basically have omni in play.

    1. I started with one, but had too many situations, when I used it pre-combo to find pieces, got a vendilion clique from SnT and could not win with Ants, because the lone LDV was already in graveyard. Second copy is good when it stays in the library and also when it waits in hand - in any case it will do it's job.
    2. LDV got their way in main after black splash suggestion almost immideatly. It searches everything before combo turn, it's the best two mana instant for FF-Ants kill, it pitches to force, it can be played from basic swamp after first turn Thoughtseize, it protects combo pieces from discard. I am always happy to cast it (and watch my opponents reading that mystically underplayed Vampiric Tutor too).

Tryed this board at Flipside Gamings 1k.

    1 Dig Through Time
    1 Firemind's Forsight
    1 Eladamri's Call
    1 Trick Bind
    1 Release the Ants
    1 Rushing River
    1 Echoing Truth
    3 Defense Grid
    2 Vendilion Clique
    3 True-Name Nemisis

Never played against control, however TNN complemented by Cliques seemed better than splashing.

    Cliques where awesome!

Boarded 2 in vs ANT,Spiral Tide,no Halls Omni and RUG Delver (complemented by Defense Grids).

Being able to hit a Ruic Thar/Rec Sage or just disrupt Elves seemed better than a Dream Halls. So i brought 1 in on the play.

Having the ability to block a 20/20 was also nice,so i brought 1 in vs R/G lands to.

The card was just awesome the hole day!

Do you guys think that one Underground Seas would be enough when splashing for Massacre?

I stopped at 2 Seas 1 Swamp in a heavy B build. For Massacre only 1 Sea seems ok (you really do not need more than one to resolve against hatebears).
