They're both great. It would be snap Judge but the shooting star is in the middle of text box and not where it should be on the bottom of the text box. Honestly, all personal preference. I prefer Judge Bobs over Rav ones because of old border.

I would absolutely love the Judge Dark Confidants because I love the old border, but the fugly shooting star in the middle of the text box is hideous. If it was at the bottom like the old foils, or where the set symbol normally goes... I'd have them instead of my set of foil Ravnica.

There are numerous flavors of Old School, which was why I made a thread over in the Variant Format forum here to discuss it.

The original Swedish format is very elitist by design. The versions we have here in the US are much more inclusive (allowing Revised and FWB/FBB).

What's everyones opinion on getting non MTG related stuff altered on cards? Part of me thinks its tacky and ugly. The other part of me REALLY wants to personalize my deck with pop culture references from my childhood.

They're your cards. Do what you want.

In my opinion is not a good idea if you plan to play big tournaments. Modifying the art of a card to the point that the card is no longer easy recognizable may lead to judges not allowing to play it. Another thing is extending the art, or making little changes, which won't affect the cards playability in big tournaments.

So u made both of them a big step forward to not get allowed in any REL comp event.
But in the end its allways the discission of the HJ if they are legal in that one tournament or not.

Very well. I'll post the entire deck when I have time but right now it's entirely s-chinese foil for the most part if possible, and s-chinese non foil if a foil printing doesn't exist. I'm in the process of getting stuff altered. Here's several I have done so far
