IMO JD is one of the best of the lot. Obviously there are some very desirable signatures there in Fricker, Hildebrand, Walker, Zug, among others. Obviously there are some more noticeable and more aesthetically pleasing signatures like Rahn, Swanland, and Cavotta's event signature. But what other signed card gets a funny string of comments every time it is posted on this forum? JD's signature is always a conversation starter and people enjoy it, which makes it a very good one to me, even if it is for unusual reasons.

I have to agree. jD's sig (or my Simian Spirit Guides signed on the back) are always excellent ice-breakers

I can say s-chinese mm2015 cards are over flooded here now and I am tired of seeing my friend crack booster boxes after boxes...

All old-border basic land foils have non-foil art :(

The only legitimate cards that have the old border with full foil art are the old border judge promos (SoFaI, SoLaS, dark confidant, noble hierarch, crucible of worlds...), and the old border Time Spiral cards.

Can you please let us know how you aquire all these cards? From friends, auditions or do you contact each dealer seperately? Do you get everything in gold? Do you send them the marker also?

Some of this has been posted in here before but I wanted to make a post about finally completing my vintage SB play set of 3 Tabernacles for shops & I figured I'd stick some other cards in the shot.



Top 2 rows is stuff from my EDH deck. My deck is old frame only, original printing where possible unless there's a cooler card option (I'm going for 40 FBB duals currently). The deck is far from tuned, basically it's a bunch of cool old cards slapped together, one of the tabernacles lives in that deck day-2-day.

Bottom left is my progress on getting AN Mountains for my Imperial Painter deck, managed to source 4 so far and would like 3 more. Bottom right is my 3 Tabernacles, it's funny how I didn't blink an eye at paying $4600 for my beta lotus but I wish washed for a week on spending $600 on my 3rd Tabernacle :)
