    Speedbump 2-1 Noctalor.

I lucksacked both sideboarded games, and got stomped in the pre-board game.

Any interest in a commented final either streamed (with delay if i make it) or VOD? I would volunteer to commentate with sombody else :D
The tournament is really interesting and i like it a lot and would play in a second season. I also think we can keep the double elimination structure. Additionally I think players who have done well this season should be awarded with byes rather than randomly determining the byes.

Does "???" mean there's no pairing for me this round atm due to an issue with the bracket?

Dragonslayer_90 I should be your next opponent as mishima_kazuya was giving me the win, but it hasn't been updated on the Battlefy site or on here yet, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I was going to start this off with a :puke: emoji, but it turns out that we don't have one. Which is something that needs to change.

Anyway, the past few days are over, and I can now finally perform some much needed maintenance to this tournament.

Everything should be up to date and everyone who needed a reply should have a reply. If you see anything wrong or have any questions or really just want to call me a dumpy wildebeest, feel free to shout out.

    Greetings
After having an astounding forty-two people sign up with only four(?) drops, I have every intention of treating this as a learning experience and holding a second.

While I would love to see a stream of the top eight, I neither have the setup to do so nor the time to make it happen. However, I don't have any trouble with someone else arranging it.

As far as the byes go, I don't plan on arranging them as suggested at all. On a general note, it goes against the spirit of how I'm trying to arrange the event. The goal is more games, not fewer. Making it to the top of the hill is only a reward, not the purpose, and therefore byes should be seen as an inherent problem rather than a boost. "Spirit" crap aside though, I'm hoping to make byes a non-issue by eliminating them altogether rather than resorting to doling them out strategically. I'm going to put it up to a vote later on, but I'm considering instituting a hard cap as to the number of players that can register, and doing so will eliminate all byes.

    What i meant was:
if we stay with double elimination and something like 56 people sign up there would be 8 byes in the first round. and i feel people who have done well in the first season could be rewarded rather than just handing out wins randomly.
However if you say: okay, we either have a double elimination tournament with 16,32 or 64 people (depending on how many join) then thats also fine. but then again it would mean fewer games ;)

Hey I've got the bye, but have the option of playing Jamie for shits and giggles. She/he seems like they want to do this as well but her/his inbox is full so I'm posting here. Hey Jamie my schedule is wonky for the next couple days, I'm EDT and won't have time to play until Sunday when I'm pretty open. If this works, pm me again.
