That depends on your decklist and which Kind of decks you want to use Them against.
    Could describe both?
    Mountain Caverns, Lackey, Go.

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchanges our apples, we each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange our ideas, we each have two ideas.

    2x Mogg War Marshal
    1x Goblin Chieftain
    1x Goblin Sharpshooter
    2x Goblin Rabblemaster
    1x Krenko, Mob Boss
    1x Tuktuk Scrapper
    1x Earwig Squad

    Spells (10)

    3x Cabal Therapy
    3x Tarfire
    4x AEther Vial

    Lands (22)

    3x Badlands
    3x Mountain
    4x Bloodstained Mire

    1x Cabal Therapy

@KZhang: I've split Moon and Magus and found that a resolved Magus dies pretty easily to Bolt/Punishing Fire. I think Moon is generally a stronger card because there are such fewer Outs to it for your opponent.

    Re: [Deck] Goblins

Here's the current Decks to Beat list. What are the best Goblin cards in each match up? I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of cards that can really swing a MU, so please let me know what cards you find essential to win these games.

    OmniTell
    Lackey, Piledriver

    Miracle Control
Earwig Squad (extremely powerful) , Sharpshooter, Legion Loyalist, Stingscourger (very good against Monastery Mentor and Angel tokens)

    Grixis Control (TCDecks: Grixis Pyromancer)
    Sharpshooter, Legion Loyalist, Tarfire, Stingscourger

    Blade Control
    Tuktuk, Tin Street, Tarfire

    Canadian Thresh (TCDecks: Threshold UGr)
    Mogg War Marshal

    Death and Taxes
Tuktuk, Tin Street, Sharpshooter, Gempalm, Tarfire

    Team America
Krenko, Warren Weirding (our only answer to TNN)

    U/G Infect (TCDecks: Berserk Stompy)
Sharpshooter, Tarfire, Gempalm, Mogg War Marshal

Here's a little list I just threw together that I think incorporates most of these

    Core-

    4 Lackey
    4 Vial
    4 Piledriver
    4 Warchief
    4 Matron
    4 Ringleader

    Flex-

    2 Gempalm
    2 Tarfire
    2 Mogg War Marshal
    1 Sharpshooter
    1 Krenko
    1 Earwig
    1 Skirk Prosector
    1 Legion Loyalist
    1 Warren Weirding
    1 Tuktuk Scrapper
    1 Stingscourger

    Lands-

    3 Waste
    2 Port
    4 Cavern
    4 Badlands
    4 Auntie's Hovel
    4 Sulfurous Springs
    1 Mountain

I clearly auto-lose to PoP, but I'm not feeding the Deathrites. I think I'll sleeve up a pile like this for the next outing and just hope to dodge burn.

    Re: [Deck] Goblins

I would add instigator, earwig, and chrome Mox to Omni list. Add earwig and sgc for grixis control. Wierding is good vs Canadian. War Marshall is mediocre at best vs Canadian and infect. Plus it's terrible vs everything else.

    Re: [Deck] Goblins

Goblin Rabblemaster is great against the Miracles and unfair decks, like OmniTell, because he puts out such an insane clock usually without opposition.

I don't like Tuktuk Scrapper against Death and Taxes because of the high CMC. In fact, Tuktuk Scrapper is just trash. I would not use it as a silver bullet even if I go mono-red. The only interaction I like Tuktuk Scrapper is with Kiki-Jiki in the WInstigator builds.

4 Color Gobins! I love it. Your list looks pretty good. Best of luck!

As it's my first attempt at Legacy I'm sure my lack of knowledge will be a larger factor than the lack of a 'real' Legacy goblin deck.

Paul, if you don't have time to change anything else, at least use only 1 sacred foundry and 1 blood crypt, putting 2 more Mountains there.
You definitely need to change some sb cards , and think more about the md, but apart from running only 3 ringleaders - you really want 4 - you can get away with most of it.
    Good luck

I can swap the land but the rest of the cards are the best I own no matter how bad they may be. The idea was to build slowly but the guys are wanting to start trying Legacy tournaments so I would rather support that and play with a pile than not go and it die from lack of people. Thanks for the advice.

I agree with scatmanx. Try and see if your shop/friends have 1 ringleader. It's a $2 card and getting 4 of those is a priority.

I have tried, been around everyone locally for the last Ringleader and either a scrapper or hooligan. I only received the last Lackey in the mail this morning! As there is no real Legacy scene here and all the guys are way younger than me they just don't have them. In the end I want to play mono red and not splash 3 other colours! (maybe one but not three!)

You can tell from the spelling I'm in the UK. :) Even the postal trader I use is all out of artifact hate goblins. :(

Could kick myself as I was at GP London recently and I'm sure I could have got them there but didn't know about this local event tomorrow at the time.

To be fair I'm just looking forward to playing whatever the result. Those md goblins and 2 more cavern are the priority, then wastelands and sort out the sb. Just gonna take a little time.

I live in London. If you ever come to a tournament here I can lend you pretty much any goblin card there is. If you want send me a PM and I'll send you my details.

    Re: [Deck] Goblins

Well, we managed to get 12 people to turn up so it went 4 rounds then cut to top 4. I actually think that for the first ever attempt at Legacy that's pretty good.

As I suspected my lack of experience of the format and my own deck contributed to a less than brilliant result. I did have a lot of fun and we hope to make this a fortnightly thing.

    Round 1 v Jeskai Stoneblade
1-1 draw in turns on game 3

    Round 2 v Temur Delver
    0-2 Loss

    Round 3 v High Tide
    0-2 Loss

Round 4 v Bye (someone dropped and I ended up getting the free win)

Highlight of the day was watching Jeskai Stoneblade v 'something playing Geist if Saint Traft' in round 4 and seeing a spell pierce countered by a force, countered by a force, countered by a force, countered by a force.

Now I need to work out how to fund more cards for my deck. :)

Hi and welcome, neddsaurus, try the OP, because that's were you should start. Besides, it's up-to-date. Then if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

the worst MU is omni, even w/ Winstigator.
it has a good MU against miracles (if you play it right), and most control-oriented decks.
elves is hard, unless you play pyrokinesis

It is not common, but the sliver MU is pretty hard too. I haven`t figured out how to beat it.

    hope I could help you.
