I received an UNL USea today that is a bit unusual. Three of the four corners are uncharacteristically rounded (not from wear), and the dot pattern overlaps in a way that creates a sort of floral pattern that is distinctly different from the pattern on the other 10 UNL duals I have.
I don't have a ton of experience with UNL cards, but based on the light test, texture of the card, and quality of printing, I think it's real. I'd just like some feedback/info from those who know this stuff much better than I do.
The edges can be explained.
Back when you could not use sleeves or sleeves where only see though, some people when also using Alpha cards would file down the edges on other cards to all be uniform. That let them use the Alpha cards without confliction with other cards in their collection. I am going to scan up some of my Duals now and have a look, but that pattern looks ok. Can you blow up the Title and text box for me please? If you are going to find a conflict, that's the first place to look.
