You can play Lands.dec in EDH too! My primer:

Honestly this is what keeps me mostly in the realm of blue fair decks. I have access to the blue duals and the cards you'd find in the tempo and control decks... Aside from that I have Loam, DnT, and ANT. I'd love to play elves, lands, reanimator, SnS, etc., but I can't justify getting into them because I didn't buy the cards seven years ago.
Change Elves to R/W Taxes, change the link to http://www.starcitygames.com/events/...decklists.html
The song remains the same.
Why is Channel banned and not Show and Tell isn't? Don't they basically do the same thing?
Probably because the Awesome keyword. really, though, it's so strange. S&T has numerous advantages over channel, like not having to expose your win condition to countermagic (not that it'd matter for Emrakul, but anything into Channel makes the Emrakul a Mindbreak Trap target) and far less severe color requirements in way better colors than eg. GGR for Channel Banefire, and it's hard to use Channel for Griseltard.
That said, T2 Channel => hardcast Emrakul is pretty donotwant.jpg stuff.

Channel it's a show and tell for 1 less mana that usually instawins.
SnT doesn't warrant a ban at the moment. It's hardly dominating, and honestly not a very strong card at the moment (The only good matchup it has of the top tier decks is arguably Shardless), with Miracles and Delver being slightly in favour of non-Show and Tell, and Death and Taxes basically having a bye versus SnT now (again).
People have compared SnT and Channel before. It's never ended with anyone else agreeing with them on the comparison. I would play Green in MUD the day Channel became a card in Legacy and I swear SnT and Griselbrand would look like a toy train compared to what I would drop on the table with that pairing.
Adding Channel to the current legacy cardpool produces a turn 1 format, Channel-Belcher is also stupid. Also Stroke of Genius -> Lich's Mirror tricks.
Also let's be fair: even with paying 15 life, hardcasting Emrakul is *far* more powerful. Can't be answered by ORing, Karakas, Liliana, or various other tricks; all the while they could be holding their Counters up for the answer you're trying to use (which has to be instant speed and not target..)
That said, it's be *realllly* weak to burn I think; which is entertaining; but then it'd probably be Channel + Sneak or Channel + S&T; so you're not accomplishing much other than making a difficult-to-interact-with deck even more diverse and difficult to deal with.
Back in the stone age, I had a dopey deck that did Channel + Initiates of the Ebon Hand + double Drain Life.
