i´ve been putting together japanese miracles and lands, but i wanna start a foil processe to death & taxes since i like the deck and can be 100% foiled ! :D

the question is about basic lands, i still can´t figure out wich i like the most among all options, any sugestions here about your favourite guys ?

Everything between Odyssey, Invasion, Onslaught and 7th. The layout is the same between those series and those are old bordered, can be foiled and those are found in Japanese. Plains version 1 from Invasion is pretty nice for example:

yeah i knew those portal chinese, pretty awesome, but not foil :( the other sugestions are interesting because i love old border foils, that´s the main reason i can´t decide ! thnaks for the suggestions and if there are more, keep it comming :)

I use only invasion basics and I chose that art for my plains. I have a few of the other one mentioned as well.

Considering how much Ice Age got mangled at the factory, it's surprisingly hard to find good stuff that is miscut.

I use Venice Islands and Windmill Plains in my Japanese Miracles deck.

Unhinged, unglued, zendikar, bfz and expeditions are a mismatch in any deck due to their lay-out. Those lands are not ugly per se, but those lands stand out too much imho. Old- and blackbordered is what i like.
A lot of times i use 4th BB Japanese Signed. Sometimes Urza's Saga. Mountain, Swamp and Plains are nice from that set. Other times Eurolands, but not being Japanese is annoying.
On the other hand Japanese Eurolands... funny.

Is pimp in the eye of the beholder?
Or is pimp a direct translation to value in terms of money?
Personally i don't care for the latter.
Also i don't care for expeditions because;
A. They mismatch
B. They are foil
I am just as happy with a language matching onslaught non foil basic.
You want to play expeditions and feel pimp, then sure it is pimp.

those are beautifull plains, and i started to play at home with pre constructed onslaught deck, so some nostalgia about that plains, i think i made the choice !! thank you all ;)

I've looked on Ebay and foreign retailers' websites but have only found a few. I have also found a few more digging through landboxes at game stores, but that doesn't seem like the most efficient way to do it.

As someone not well-versed in buying obscure foreign cards, where else can I look?

Not sure what continent your living in, but Magiccardmarket has plenty. Also 7th nonfoil is whiteboarded.

Hareruya is where I get most of my Japanese basic lands. Otherwise I sometimes buy lots on ebay (they are rare though).
