Changing Decay for Explosives is also an option. Explosives can be cast with different cmc's with sunburst 2 offering a way to get rid of Counterbalance through an active top lock, it's also a good replacement for Decay when dealing with Chalices, costing 0 to cast and 2 to activate.
On the other hand it does offer a sweeping potential so it may be plausible to swap for Deed too, a copy perhaps. If you're playing Jitte then Explosives looks like a good replacement for a copy of Deed. Perncious Deed is one of the best cards in most lists but it can be worth considering other builds. With a couple of Deathrites in the build Explosives has a reasonable chance of stopping Jace even. And it's a way around Peedle on Deed.
Edit: this was a quick lunch post, should probably have read your last post more carefully before replying. Sorry for any irrelevant comments!
I imagine it helps against Storm if they go for Empty the Warrens, and Miracles if they go for Entreat / Mentor tokens. Makes us even more vulnerable to Stifle than before, though.
Neither deck runs it and for the Miracles MU you do lose the ability to easily get rid of Counterbalance. You do have an easier time managing their finishers though. In some cases it might even help you deal with Jace where AD can't touch him.
As for other MUs, you do make your opponents' ADs better whenever you cast it without having 2 mana available. You can also not cast it at instant speed (like in your opponents' end step or when he moves to combat). When taking out a single target with CMC = 0 (CotV, mainly), it basically is AD with an easier colour requirement. In almost all other cases where you take out just 1 of your opponents' card, it's a strictly worse AD. In cases where you manage to 2-for-1 or better your opponent, it's better than AD.
Tempted to try Noxious Vapors out. Basically demolishes the hand of any colorless deck. Might be fast enough, and you get to keep some threats at least.
Why would you want to run such a narrow card? You'd probably be better of casting Hymn to Tourach for 1 less mana. At least that doesn't let your opponent keep his best cards (necessarily). Or, you know, Thoughtseize. Costs 2 mana less and takes your opponents most important card without fail.
A recent report showed that eldrazi is in fact 44% of the online magic meta. People are calling it 16 tomb in legacy and I have personally played against it 5 times.
None of which were close. I don't believe the sky is falling but I feel that for the time being I may need to switch decks while I wait for the online meta to shift because getting a winning percentage against it is not likely with this deck.
Interestingly enough, prior to this menace being unleashed from the depths of wotc's basement, I felt junk fit was in the best of places and positioned perfectly, albeit online, to be a top contender.
I say continue with your currernt build. do not deviate to prepare for this eldrazi deck. If its overwhelmed your meta, switch decks for the time being.

Calling shard less easy is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion!
I probably haven't understood your statement about the 44% meta share (English is not my language after all): we only care about the legacy meta right? Who cares if in that 44% the biggest chunk of eldrazi decks belongs to the modern format? Unless you are telling me that all of a sudden in the last 3 days legacy has become a 44% eldrazi deck format. Sorry if I have not understood but I can't do anything about that!
If you're referring to this 44% figure: http://modernnexus.com/topdecks/
That's for Modern, not Legacy. Not sure what you're getting at?

Honestly, if you are super worried about the eldrazi beast the best place to go to is an insta kill combo. Which every deck has access to because of something like Tooth n Nail. Just entwine up any 2 card combo you want. What was the one used back in standard? Vampire Trike? ..... Actually maybe tooth wouldnt be terrible in a blue nic fit control shell. Plus side is you do not have to run a horrendous mana base like you do with Scape. You also get Brainstorm and Jace.
Modern can often times be a precursors to shifts in older formats. Also your average magic player is unimaginative and lazy so they will naturally attempt to port strong concepts in one format to another and try to cloak it as innovation.
too much life loss, homey. smasher hits for 5 and then we deluge for 5. 5+5=im no scientist, damn it.
that's deep and im down. lets see a list, bud.

I know it's slow, but does Titania have a place as a final wall against the Aggro Eldrazi deck? A 5/3 will kill most of their creatures

I can never look at Titania without also looking at; Sylvan Safekeeper, Knight of the Reliquary, Life from the Loam and to a lesser but innevitable extent Wasteland.
Maverick is a beautiful deck that misses Veteran Explorer.
NicFit is a beautiful deck that misses more utility and/or interaction with its' lands.
Combining the two has never gotten anywhere. The idea does get to me every time. NicFit that attacks opponents manabase.
