Would Natural Order be a faster effect? Worldspine Wurm could do some work against 5/5's. Or buy enough time until other engines are online, like Meren + Shriekmaw, or Sigarda, etc.

Thrag tusk also seems to be a good place to move to right now. Life gain is relevant. Leaving a body is important. I dont know how many ppl are still on stronghold or nightmare but multiple tusks with those active seems like that should grind out eldrazi fine.
As some did point out earlier. Eldrazi decks were never a great match up for this deck. Cloudpost was as bad as lands as a match up. So honestly, this isnt really changed. except this is probably a slightly better match as they do not go legendary eldrazi size so you still have a chance.
Veteran explorer seems huge in this match up. Chalice on 1 seems bad but only really for blue. For junk you have gsz for 1 which gets a vet. After that you get deed online.
The scariest thing is that without wasteland they might get eye active which seems tough. Going to a more creature based deck that abuses nightmare might be right. That card was always broken but does come with a lot of deck constraint.
I do not play mtgo so I do not know what the % is but I promise that it is not 44% of the legacy meta. It is (and should be higher) for modern because if you are not playing eldrazi in that format you are just doing it wrong right now or looking for a challenge. It might be a deck in legacy but I wouldnt be making deck choices based on it. It is just another stompy variant that you should have a plan for.
@blue tooth deck- I just found out tooth n nail is a $30 card... WTF is that played in? I am guessing EDH? Whelp I cant see myself paying $100 for that bullshit card. haha Even though I do think that could actually be a deck. Maybe with Eternal masters that reprint Mana drain and then unban it and I get to drain a reality smasher and untap Nail someone with Trike........
I agree with the first 3 points.
Its not that big on mtgo quite yet but if they ban something in modern for it, chances are players will move towards legacy with cards they already have.
Eldrazi is insane in modern but local events are flooded like I assume major events will be. I play Jund because its still a good deck with just as bad a mu as other decks.
I don't blame you. Regardless, a list would intrigue me enough seeing as they are much less expensive online and that is where I have nic fit at. (BUG control irl which you have been quiet about :O )
Plasm capture is basically mana drain but better? (lol)

Tempted to put together a BUG Pod list again:
0: Dryad Arbor
1cmc: Veteran, DRS
2: Strix, something zenithable - Strangleroot Geist or Scavenging Ooze or Golgari/Korozda Guildmage?
3: Glissa, Nissa, Witness
4: Meren, Glen Elendra
5: Thragtusk, Shriekmaw
6: Grave Titan?
Glissa gets back Birthing Pod which is nice if it got killed by something, though being 4cmc I guess it doesn't die much. Probably run Recurring Nightmare, some combination of Deed/Decay/Explosives/Pulse/Deluge. Diabolic intent finds Nightmare or a sweeper.
Seems like a pretty solid build. Pretty bad against Rest In Peace though, but I guess that's what Decay / Cabal Therapy is for. Maybe play like the Abzan lists and run a Taiga and DRS for Slaughter Games. Could also splash W for Path and Rhino.
Don't forget that at some point you do need to kill your opponent.
Is Grave Titan not threatening enough? I guess you're playing Witness and a ton of recursion, just put in a Time Warp or Cryptic Command or something if you want a game ending combo.
It is. It just takes Pod Fit a long time to get there. The deck tends to durdle.
My issue with bug fit is it plays the value you out game but doesn't really have a win condition outside of grave titan. Nothing to truly clock your opponent, just more value.
The junk fit deck has a straight forward gameplan: Kill their sht, play rhino, save the cheerleader, save the world.
I feel the best approach for the latest meta is a another look at the bug fit pw deck due to innocent blood receiving a lot of value against the new eldrazi cancer.

in all my testing with sfm in nic fit, I was never impressed and always felt it to be subpar. like putting a minigun on a donkey, it just feels unstable and doesn't necessarily work.
I would prefer to continue on with the same game plan or make a sweeping change to combat the meta shift. I still play against mostly miracles online so no dodge there quite yet.

5 slots for sfm+equip might be fine. Further lowering the curve might be fine to. Altough there isn't much lower to go then it already is. Guess the list is more like the rock that way. At least it is an excuse fir me to run 3 VetEx/4 DRS split.
I just feel that by adding sfm package, you want more bodies and want to be lower to the ground. specifically since we are in Junk, lingering souls looks much more lucrative. With this plan, we are shying away from going over in favor of being evasive and trying to grind out with equipment. I believe that is wrong. To fight the eldrazi menace, we need DL Drom and Baneslayer. Lifelink and flying are good as well as the ability to win all combat against their deck (barring ulamog). Going up on path seems right. 3 pte/ 3 AD seem right. Painful truths to draw out of knot seer. up to 22 lands.

Can't argue here. SFM splash lists are really tight in their nr's. I do not like how i have to squeeze in everything and end up with sub-optimal nr's.
That, offcourse, does not mean that BSK is a solid card to present to Eldrazi, but maybe Baneslayer Angel is just as reasonable here.
This thread moves so fast but to whomever made a list of anti-eldrazi creatures and included Juzam. That is amazing.
Wurmcoil is certainly good too. I think with 2 towers active or a nightmare Wurmcoil is on par with a Thragtusk.
The Bug plan is certainly value orientated. When I played that version I wasnt on pod. It was when Dig was legal so it wasnt very recent. I think I am going to play it wed.
I want to Recur Tusks so I will throw a list together.
