Joe, what happened G1 against Tom Ross? Why did you fetch Tundra on your main phase?
Fetch and Brainstorm EOT to put Terminus (if that's what was in your hand–according to commentary it was but I don't think so) back and find another white land, untap, Miracle Terminus, and then Swords the Nexus. Even if you didn't have the Terminus, you might find it in the top 3.

Just here to share a satisfying picture:

Eldrazis seem to have invaded the MTGO leagues (or maybe I'm just unlucky?). I've been testing moat+from the ashes as a hate package in the side, from the ashes is not so great as most lists seem to be running a lot of warping wail post side, but Moat has done a great job for me. They do have some ways to deal with it, mainly Ratchet bomb, and maybe they'll stard running stuff like disenchants in the side like in modern if enchantment/artifact anti-eldrazi cards become a thing
What does the miracle v Pox matchup look like?
There's a Mono W Eldrazi list with Disenchants in the board, but we have counter magic for that.

SDT helps because we can play off the top of our deck - you can literally win on an empty hand with SDT. Most of their disruption is sorcery speed, so you can essentially blank them.
They have few answers to resolved Counterbalance or Jace.
The way you loose this match is a combination of discard, especially Hymn to Tourach and Sinkhole and they mana screw you and poke you for 2 per turn until you slowly die.
Flash creatures and EtA are bonkers and almost all Pox removal is sorcery speed / Liliana.
"Never argue with a fool, people might not know the difference."
Baneslayer Angel could serve as a Moat but also help in other matchups?
good side note: Warping Wail and Chalice are so everywhere that Infect and Storm will be at a minimum.
Also, DnT is one of the most effective deck aganst Eldrazi and this pushes Storm really out ot top8
The other decks play Abrupt Decay, Aether Vial and Cavern of Souls.
IMHO we can start building a more "permanent" controller deck and drop CB to SB for sometime.
We just need to keep Ulamog and Worldbreaker out of the game... Meddling Mage, Moat, Jace and Entreat the Angels are our new best friends..
Wrong, Wrong, and Wrong. Dude, think about it.
Why would DnT be most effective against Eldrazi? DnT's Mom doesn't do anything against colorless. DnT's taxing creatures like Thalia doesn't help against Ugin and Temple. If you're saying that DnT's locking via Wasteland/Port, that might be true; that would require DnT to have a lock-heavy opening. As matter of fact, without Mom's protection, DnT's only plan in the long run is equip via jitte and/or BS, preferably on a flyer.
The issue with Eldrazi is most certainly NOT Ulamog and Worldbreaker, those are the least of your worries as a Miracles player. Your concerns are as the following:
1. Early turn Chalice
2. Float your hate via SDT, not in your hand, use Brainstorm when absolutely necessary. You cannot afford to get your Moat/Blood Moon removed by Thought-Knot, float or hide it, just assume Thought-Knot will happen sooner than you expect.
3. Reality Smasher, too fast too early, especially off Cavern. One resolved is enough for Eldrazi to win the game. Save your StP for this if possible.
From my experience testing against Eldrazi, just because they run Warping Wail, that should not be the reason for you to be scared of casting Sorcery. Just run more of them. If they counter your Terminus or Council, you're probably dead. If you want to be sure, run Supreme Verdict instead.
I am re-considering Slice and Dice again. This is a great card against Grixis and ok against Eldrazi/Infect. You get to Cantrip And you just wipe YP and the red crap he shits out, uncounterable. If you are convinced of the overloading principle against Eldrazi, just run it along with Terminus, you can maybe 1-for-many, not just killing Thought-knot. Again, cycle against Infect, you'll probably get some Noble and the Infect player has to play something to save his nexus. Oh, cycling doesn't care about Thalia's taxing.
I've played against a BUG Deed control deck the last two weeks.
He boards into Badlands + Slaughter games. I've been slaughter games'd 11 times in 4 matches. I hate my life, and I hate slaughter games.
This is why we diversify threats.

I play Jace, Clique, Snapcaster as well as Entreat for threats. He play 3 Deed, 4 Abrupt Decay and 4 Slaughter Games after board. I don't think anything besides something like Keranos beats him.
He played 11 slaughter Games over 4 post board games. That's close to three per GAME.
haha talking of Slaughters, guys Eldrazi is slaughtering Delverdecks out of the format...
FINALLY maybe Delver is done for.
about the Slaughter games post: Moat kills everything of his but Pernicious Deed and Pulse.
Needle and MMage helps a lot, but hell, yeah, this is really a new generation.
Maybe the new anwers are Gods and Planeswalkers.
Eldrazi are so big that creatures CAN'T stick.
Humility + Elspeth, Jace, Keranos might be our future
