Stormchaser Mage has been great for me recently. Flying is really powerful and I always underrate it.
TITI seems okay, not amazing or anything. To be honest it almost seems more like a sideboard card. There's no way I'm playing it in the same deck as Delver and Young Pyromancer, but it's a powerful enough effect that maybe you could bring it in against decks like Elves or against other Delver decks.
I always like to check on the daily MTGO results... Stormchaser build got a 5-0 result yesterday. Is this any of you?

In other news.... Got my foil Stormchasers in the mail. Pretty stoked!

Intrigued by this one... I'm going to give this a shot in Modern UR Delver, for sure. Wondering if it could be a nice 1-of in Legacy UR Delver.

I like that it's an X spell, but I don't like that it lets my opponent pick which cards I get. If I'm going to play a Blue card draw spell, I'd rather do what Eli Kassis was doing and run Compulsive Research.
We already have Brainstorm 5-8; it's called Ponder. My initial thought is to run this as a 1-of in place of a Ponder.
I feel like this is better because of it being an X-cost spell and instant speed. You get to reveal X+1... X=0 will pump your prowess dudes for 1cc. X=1 or 2 will make it a cantrip. X=3 (or more) and then you can reload your hand a bit, not just cantrip... Which is why I would want to run only one to serve as a late-game refill.
Depending on which build you are doing... More Snapcaster targets or more Lavamancer fodder in the GY... Or, just another cantrip for your prowess dudes with the flexibility to cantrip early or reload late. Another fun idea... Brainstorm/Ponder (and maybe a fetch land shuffle) to set up an Epiphany.

I know what you mean about Ponder being a sorcery. As for Expedite, we already don't run Crimson Wisps, which is arguably better because it can allow your blue dudes to dodge REB/Pyroblast.
Slip Through Space gives evasion with a cantrip, and can't be countered with REB/Pyroblast... But, so much of a Delver deck is already built around evasion (flying, specifically). I would consider it in Modern, maybe.

It's probably playable in modern, but in legacy, Fact or Fiction is better at 3(U), gives 5 cards (1 more for your mana), and you pick the pile, not your opponent. sure, it doesn't have the "flexibility" of an X-spell, but to reiterate, we still have ponder, preordain, and another handful of other spells that have a similar effect that would see play before this.

Every card which let opponent making the "final" decision, need to choose one:
#1 Provide a mode where your opponent's choice doesn't matter(e.g. Intuition for 3 Emrakul; Gift for only entombing 2 cards).
#2 Be garbage. (e.g. Steam augury;Truth or tale)
#3 Going to be garbage. (e.g. Browbeat)
This new card can't choose #1, and...
I hear they got twisters miles wide in the Midwest.
The only way this card is playable is if the deck is redundant. If both piles consist of nothing but 1 mana cantrips that fuel prowess then it is reasonable but if there is much variance you will always get the worse pile. I think we all know there are better options in legacy it is fun to imagine what a new card could do in a deck though.
How would you guys board against Death and Taxes with this deck?

Surgical is bad against D+T. Even if you have the chance to Smash a Vial and Surgical it, you're better off letting them topdeck their Vials instead of relevant cards. Against a deck like U/R Delver, a late game Vial is the single worst thing to draw.
Vortex can be hard to cast, but Batterskull/Jitte beat you otherwise. Vapor Snag is also okay.
Bad cards against D+T:
Spell Pierce
FoW
Probe
Price of Progress
Unless you knew your opponent's hand had at least one copy of a card that you were surgical-ing, I wouldn't do it.
Another Stormchaser build goes 5-0 in MTGO leagues... This time with 2x TNN.

Funny, cuz I played against dredgemundo last night, but he was back to his Grixis Delver deck.
