    This sounds like the plot to a really bad movie.

    The Eldrazi threaten the existance of everything on the plane of Zendikar. It's species - the humans, vampires, elves, and kor - have allied themselves with each other in order to protect what they call home. But this summer, one species will rise above the rest in a major motion picture event. Can the eldrazi stand against... BEES??????

    Soon on the SyFy channel: Sharktopus vs. Eldrazi!

    Might be even funnier than Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf (which luckily was better than Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda).

    The Simic are at it again!

    In all seriousness though, what's the benefit of using Birthing Pod? My list should be posted one or two pages back and I'm considering switching to it.

    Moar consistency and some insane toolboxing.

    There's an increased chance of durdle-danger though.

    The CA chains you can make are all nice and fun but they don't quite smash face.

    Carpet continues to shine.
    I may start putting Carpet in mine as well, I've been impressed with it while testing the Starfield list. I ran a red splash (SFM fit) at GP Columbus and just really didn't like Slaughter Games in the side. Never had a chance to cast the singleton From the Ashes in the side either. Do you mind giving some detail on what matches you often side out Vets and bring Carpets in? Or which you might keep Vets and bring additional mana? I'm still a novice when it comes to nic fit siding and could benefit from some explanation there even if it might be a no-brainer for others here. You do seem much better prepared mana-wise than a lot of lists I see posted. 22 lands + 2 DRS, although only 3 Vets, seems like it is geared to run smoothly post-board.

    Is your list still running maindeck Teeg? How are you liking that? I may give it a try. Only shuts off hardcast Batterskull and big Elspeth in my list (besides GSZ of course). Probably will try small Elspeth, the +3/+3 flying sounds sweet with an equipment-oriented build. Plus I have a signed one in paper.

    Talked brieflly with Jain_Mor while he was online with his E Wit SFM list (3 copies of E Wit) main and he said he loved it, so additional copies of that gal is also something I'd like to test out.

    Beat Maverick in 2.
    Sounds about right

    Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit

    With some singles & EDH deck selling this month, I will make around 80 dollars for spending on Nic Fit cards. I have most of the stuff for the deck (just Abzan), but with almost new (or redesigned same decks), I made a list of cards I don't own, so which cards from this list are a priority to buy (and how many):

    Ob Nixilis Reignited
    Elspeth, Sun's Champion
    Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
    Abeyance
    Canopy Vista
    Garruk, Primal Hunter
    Gaze of Granite
    Nahiri, the Lithomancer
    Nissa the Flipwalker
    Restoration Angel
    Tireless Tracker
    3x Thoughtseize (got only one, since three of them were stolen a year ago)

    Those are some of the cards which I saw on the last 10-20 pages, and if you have some new ideas feel free to write it here. So, please help a fellow player! :D

    Tracker is in my opinion a staple at this point. I don't know what the right number is, but I know it's 1 at the minimum. When it comes to the planeswalkers I like Sorin, LoI because he can win a game on his own at a decent clock and the rest can't really do that. Elspeth's Sun's Champion is ok as well. I don't like the rest, but it could just be because I'm down on PW's in general right now, the creature side of things just feels a lot more potent. If you want something else to buy, without knowing your list and what you may be lacking you're never going to regret owning Thoughtseizes.

    Current list roughly: http://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/435585#paper

    Main: -1 Baneslayer Angel, +1 Sakura-Tribe Elder

    Sideboard: Ugin is living the dream but probably be something cheaper. (Resolving it vs miracles is so sweet, however)

    @PAndroid: Tireless Tracker, three of them. All else is optional.

    @Paranoid_Android:
    I'd say Thoughtseize no 2 first then 1 tracker, maybe Nissa, Vastwood Seer because she's quite common but still a subject for taste and then possibly the second tracker. For the rest they are tested back and forth and at least I don't perceive of them as core cards; when you want a big threat you can try any of these depending on what decks you want to beat.

    Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit

    @Paranoid:
    Be aware tha flip Nissa is still legal in T2 (and here cost around 10€). But in september, Origins with Nissa will be out with the incoming of Khaladesh set. And it's price will obviously decrease since Nissa is not that played in eternal (except EDH).

    I agree that tireless is relevant. Thoughtseize is a sure investment.

    @cavalrywolfpack:
    you made my day lol!

    @rubllekill:
    I agree that reading hornet bees, that sound great against a stompy without evasion skill (except trample + endbringer).
    But I do think Glissa is far way better against Eldrazi since they main deck runs Warping Wail, no?
    You can mind trick some bad players who are focusing on the "1" and forgot "or less" of their card. But still...

    Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit

    Oh man I would trade anything to play with Glissa in any format. Shoot I'll try her sideboard!

    Sac a veteran to get a witness/tracker, right? I don't know if I like the additional cost..that's the reason I don't want to play intent.

    In modern this is going to have some kind of potential..

    Re: [Primer/Deck] Nic Fit

    Eldritch Evolution looks like it should be good somehow, just not sure where. Exiling itself makes Witness silliness less good, but not requiring the creature be green and taking less initial investment than Pod is promising.

    Sac Explorer into Witness, Finks, Tracker or Nissa (that would be a nice Ramp) and Chain cc3 into Thragtusk or Sigarda (or non Green targets, like Tasigur into Grisel) sounds not to Bad.

    Woah, rather nice. It's Pod as a spell. No color or legendary restriction either, and works under Teeg. Only wish it could be brought back with E Wit...
    Current possible nic fit evolutions:

    1->3
    Veteran -> Vendilion Clique, Eternal Witness, Tireless Tracker, Finks, Wood Elves, Ooze, Teeg, Nissa, Glissa, Courser

    2->4
    Stoneforge, Baleful Strix -> Rhino, Meren, Glen Elendra, Sower of Temptation (BUG looking nice!), Huntmaster, Resto Angel

    3->5
    Kitchen Finks, Eternal Witness, Trinket Mage -> Titania, Gitrog, Baneslayer, Archangel of Thune, Acidic Slime, Sigarda, Thragtusk (quick way to get Thragtusk out if you can't cobble together 6 mana for GSZ)

    4->6
    Rhino, Glen Elendra, Skyshroud Cutter lol -> Dragonlord Dromoka, Grave Titan, Sun Titan, Primeval Titan, Ruric Thar, Massacre Wurm, Consecrated Sphinx, Sire of Insanity
    Skyshroud gives you a potential T3 6-drop with no other acceleration, or T2 with a Vet prior. Sick.

    5->7
    Eh see above? -> Elderscale Wurm, Elesh Norn

    Delve gets stupid. Starts looking like a cheaper, non color restrictive Natural Order.

    6->8
    Hooting Mandrills, Tasigur -> Tidespout Tyrant, Ashen Rider, Avacyn, Craterhoof, Myojin of Nights Reach (opp discards hand), Platinum Emperion, Sundering Titan, Terastodon

    7->9
    Gurmag Angler -> Iona, Blazing Archon, Inkwell, Void Winnower

    And of course you can opt to do X+1 and get something on a lower chain.

    Very diverse, could potentially open up BUG to be more efficient with getting certain creatures into play. Dryad Arbor seems nice as a way to fetch and then cast this without giving opponent priority to kill the sac target. Even white splashes for Thune/Feeder combo or similar things could be way more optimized and efficient.

    Hm probably too convoluted but I'd love to see Mono Green Aggro. Probably fits better in modern though.
    T1 Experiment One
    T2 Strangleroot Geist, swing for 3
    T3 Evolve the Geist into Surrak, the Hunt Caller, attack with a 4/4, 3/2, and 5/4 for 12?

    I'm interested in trying it.

    Explorer - Fierce Empath - get Tasigur, cast him with Explorer mana.

    This card as a 4off in Jund, running utility in the Jund nongreen range such as Magus of the Moon.

    On the other hand, Junk provides utility such as Thalia 2.0 to be fetched aswell. Plus that the tutor opens up a more easy window into anti combo hatebears.

    Edit: Navsi, that is also pretty sic.
