[Primer] Eldrazi Stompy

won 2 eternal weekend byes with serum powder + eternal scourge list. Hindsight changes: I would up Urborg from 1 to 3 and play 3 sideboard Massacre in the current meta.

Any advice on how to beat the Eldrazi mirror, especially the ones running Matter Reshaper over Eternal Scourge? I'd like to have something to side in against them for the 4 chalice of the voids i'm siding out.

Do you have a recommended sideboard? I'm going to GP Providence this weekend and will be jamming Colorless Eldrazi but I'm interested in the O Sower list to mess around with afterwards

The maindeck is airtight but the sideboard I would gear to the meta you expect. For example, if you anticipate facing the mirror, then it might be worthwhile to make room for 2 additional cards (for example Jitte) in the sideboard so you can bring them in versus the mirror matchup along with the 2 Dismember to replace the 4 Chalices you'll be boarding out.

I have run the Displacer build successfully and like the aggressive beatdown aspect. The white mana occasionally isn't there, and the Caves/Karakas are often desired to be a Mishra's Factory, Wasteland or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. All of this together, I am now testing Eternal Scourge and Serum Powder. The deck runs very smoothly. Casting Scourge after a Powder works nicely. Powder also taps for colorless which has been relevant against Blood Moon. What is everyone's experience with Eternal Scourge?

Why the single SSG? Seems pretty random. I would definitely swap out the SSG for a single Urborg since you play 4 Eye and maindeck Dismember. List looks good otherwise.

I've always felt most comfortable at 25 lands + 3 spirit guide for the colorless build.

From lists that I tested and ran:

Colorless: 24
White Eldrazi: 25
Serum: 24
Sower: 27

Various White/X lists sort of fall into 25-26 for me.

thank you. yes i like it vs shamans (because they exile lands) and the mirror. I think the sower is just better as long as sneaky show doenst show up.

The sower cant get dismembered in the mirror, which is a big deal. As soon as i see sneaky show being represented in larger number, then i will go back to endbringer.

I would note that with D&T being a big player now in the last 30 days, Sneak and Show will likely not see a resurgence. My buddy is a S&S pilot, and he said the MU with D&T is atrocious.

no i think the cards are only good enough in a serum powder/all in build. I think they are good vs certain decks, but not super impressive in general in the regular eldrazi build

My only experience with it was the Serum build, but that makes sense.

Grats man. As much as I want to try the typical sower build, I cannot bring myself to run 4 eye and 4 urborg in a main deck. Assuming you just tweaked your usual lists to accommodate 2 sower vs 2 bringer
