Thanks man. yes i did. i think the typical sower build is not good enough vs fast + combo decks i.m.o. The 1 off ullamog is just a joke in my opinion. i really really like urborg. but i was in trouble a lot of times when i had 2 of them, let alone 4.
yeah i also cutted 1 needle side for 1 endbringer. as said earlier, as long as i dont see sneak attack, i will run a slightly different build. I did not bring needle in a lot lately. It is a loss against miracles, but the extra endbringer is also nice vs them.

I thought so too. I had the same prejudices against it. But after playing it, I changed my mind. Ulamog is the creature I am searching for the most when I use eye of ugin. Its like an auto win most of the times. As I wrote before: I tend to cast Ulamog like 20-25% of my matches. BUT you need the O-Sower list and 3 Urborg! Then casting a Ulamog Turn 4 is absolutely realistic!!
Against any fair deck Ulamog is an absolute killer. Just give it a try. I never regreted it so far!!

I think it may be ok in the package. but i cant afford to cut cards that i am now playing. i do not need fatter creaters then sower or smasher

miracles 2-0
miracles 2-0
Grixis delver/control? 2-0

So I picked up a version of Stompy for the first time for an event tonight and went 3-1 (I found a nice taxing one with 2x Thorn of Amethyst mainboard that's really my style).
My biggest question after said event- when do I bring in All is Dust? I get I can cast it like turn 3 with a spirit guide, or just hard cast it on 4, but it still feels very slow.
Played Colorless Eldrazi last night in the Community Legacy League.
Went 1-2 in games, losing to Deathblade and Hex Depths
Beat a Grixis deck (I think? I can't recall)
Got the bye in rd 4 to go an even 2-2
Then played a heads up vs Infect and won that one.
Archived stream can be found in signature. This was my very first stream, and it definitely took a lot of my focus away from the game. Punted hard a couple times, including playing a Pithing Needle into my own CotV![]()

Sunday I go to a tournament of 70 players with this list.
Next week I will report.
what do you think of the list?
I'd try find place for some number of 4 ccm consipracy artifact that draws you a card (can't remember the name now). I'd drop the key although they seem like a nice mana boost, I'd jam 2-3 ugin/karn in any combination, or perhaps even md all is duest. How you survuive first few turns is beyond me. With that in mind I might also replace some nbumber of endbringers with Wurmcoil engines (edit: or even better, add batterskulls as you can power them turn two), purely for lifegain value. I might approach this deck more like any other mud but withouth metalworker which you are clearly doing.
With these cahnges in mind you'd also have to cut on the number of big amna eldrazis... but by now it's already another deck.
Donno, you deck comp seems a bit shaky in my eyes.
Caprino, I think it looks inconsistent. It will be amazing some games but there will be quite a few games where after your opponent counters or makes you discard a key spell, you will have tons of mana and no threats or where you have threats but not quite enough mana. If you are sold on it and have had success with it, play it. But if you're just looking for the best build that consistently plops down the biggest baddest Eldrazi and wins games through multiple mana disruption and counter/discard, Caprino, play the below list. It's very good, has tested very well, and you can leave the sideboard the same as your old sideboard if you prefer.
Don't make any changes to the following list, play this exact identical list below for atleast a handful of games and then feel free to dismiss this approach if you get any win percentage under 70%. Yes 70-75% is what I've been getting and I am certain you will get similar results if you try it. So, I highly recommend trying this identical list without ANY changes just a couple of games atleast. You can leave your sideboard as is. Any sideboard that has some combo hate in it will suffice.
//Mana
4 Eye of Ugin
4 Eldrazi Temple
4 Ancient Tomb
4 City of Traitors
4 Cloudpost
3 Glimmerpost
3 Vesuva
1-2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
//Core
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Eldrazi Mimic
4 Thought-Knot Seer
4 Reality Smasher
//Flex
4-3 Endless One
4 Oblivion Sower
4 Conduit of Ruin
1 Phyrexian Revoker
1 Phyrexian Metamorph
1 Breaker of Armies
1 Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
1 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
//Sideboard
4 Leyline of the Void
3 Trinisphere
2 Thorn of Amethyst
2 Dismember
2 Pithing Needle

Again, play this identical main deck list. Don't make any changes except to the sideboard until you try this list unmodified first.
If AFTER trying it, you still prefer your current list, then yes, play it.
yo hammer, could you please just add you current list in your signature? you are posting 5 lists per page sometimes.
thanks

That's not my current list. My current list is the Oblivion Sower list I posted about. Caprino earlier asked me what list I would suggest if he wanted to play a big ramp list. What I posted is the ramp list I recommended he play instead of relying on inconsistent artifact mana to power out big eldrazi.
I can't figure out how to modify my sig, profile is currently only letting me change colors of the forum etc...
However this is the list I use when playing competitively... http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...l=1#post972715
what do you guys think whould be a good extra sideboardslot for my list vs omnitell/sneaky show? I get turn 1 pierce/fow into turn 2 gg too many times recently :(
