Clearly Storm is a problem at the moment. Can we just get a ban on Dark Ritual?
They can unban Mind Twist since, for some retarded reason, people think RIT RIT RIT MINDTWIST! is better than Rit rit rit "actually win the game"

They feel the same about "Elves elves elves mind twist" as opposed to "elves elves elves" win too; but let's just hit storm cuz why not.

Actually banning brainstorm and remove mentor and banning ritual could be a solution to let the format shift.
Don't know if they like to shift.

Ah. The lousy sentence structure and flimsy punctuation makes it seem like a user named Sarcasm (not out of the realm of possibility) wrote a tournament report (which logic dictates would the in the Tournament Reports forum) and probably having some sort of title referring to Storm somehow.

And apparently Dice_Box thinks it's a good read. However, if the report has similar writing style (or lack thereof, really) to Dice_Box's post, I'm not sure reading it would really be that great. :eyeroll

If we're in the business of long form explanation; my post was just saying that people think DRits into Mind Twist is bad; but DRits into AN is fine; which is dumb.

They also think the same thing about Elves.

The problem of course being that if Storm's whole plan is "lol I'll stall the game by Twisting you for 3!" or "I'll Twist them before using Tendrils" when they could have just won instead, or used therapy post AN; is not functional. Similarly, Elves could generate 4 mana and "lol 3-for-1'd ya!!" but they could've instead just NO'd you for the win; meaning that all they did was make the deck worse. It could replace Glimpse I guess.. but probably not. They may even say "lol but what about Tezz or MUD!?"

To which I say "why would you add Discard spells to a deck that is made to lock you out of the game?"

Hmmm, on SB Nation blogs/boards, one can activate sarcasm font by book-ending text with the "@" symbol. That would've made the sarcasm more obvious, without having to type Sarcasm as a faux user name. No request being made.

IMO Contract from Below does not belong on the banned list.
With the current oracle wording, Contract from Below must be removed before you play if you do not play for ante, so it is not possible to cast Contract from Below in a sanctioned environment. The function Contract from Below would have would be to run a virtual 56 card deck similar to Street Wraith and (to some degree) Gitaxian Probe.
