That's an awesome idea, definitely adopting that.

The Reanimator thread just reminded me that you guys are the best, so I'm stopping by to tell you that you're all the best.

Also I told them we have a cocktail, so we should probably get on that.

    Ok how about this:

    7oz gin
    7 1/7th oz dry vermouth
7 dashes Fee Brothers Celery Bitters

Pour over 7 ice cubes, stir 7 times, strain, garnish with 7 cocktail onions.
    Glass: Pint

I call it the CircleBurst OnionJerk.

    Truly the best thread.

Glad I can nerd rage all over people who don't bother to read it.

And now I want a Circleburst Onionjerk, sounds like it would cost me $12 at a bar, 10/10

    Solid 5/7

    5+7 = $12

    12 = life remaining after reanimate >

    Conspiracy confirmed.

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

Our playgroup had a sweet early Xmas Vintage/Legacy weekend, got a bit too drunk on Saturday after Vintage so threw together Tin Fins in true hungover fashion for the Sunday. I didn't know how much I missed playing this deck. (usually I play without a Tendrils, but hangover + laziness etc)

R1 vs Grixis Delver - G1 got us both hellbent after lots of therapy and I found a Shallow Grave from a SDT. G2 Baby Jace and Mentor went to town.

R2 vs Eldrazi - Otp I have Entomb, Shallow Grave. He has T1 Chalice on 1 T2 Chalice on 2 after I whiff off 21 cards from Griselbrand. But on turn 5 I'm able to play petal, two one mana spells and Tendrils for lethal. G2 I sb 13 cards in, he forgot to side out Oblivion Sower and Ulamog which crush me...G3 I kept to the man plan and after Thoughtseizing a Smasher get smashed by two smashers off the top and Batterskull can't compete.

R3 vs Bant. He has a DRS so I'm forced to combo into a daze or force, he doesn't have either. G2 I side into a mix of combo and man plan, it doesn't line up right. G3 Mentor goes smash smash.

R4 vs UW Stoneblade with Squadron Hawks (Sweet deck). G1 I get wrecked by Karakas. There's a turn where I hardcast Griselbrand off Rituals and Petals, he Karakas' after I draw 7 and am 1 mana short of serving onions. G2 I side into Mentors but not Stoneforges, leaving in some of the combo too. TS a StP, t2 mentor, t3 mentor into probe kills fast. G3 I keep the same sbing, but Jitte kills Mentor.

R5 vs BR Reanimator - He plays Faithless Looting T1. My hand is Petal, Ritual, Ritual, Ritual, Chrome Mox, Therapy, Griselbrand G2 he gets a T1 Griselbrand T2 Chancellor. G3 I combo t2.

Split to top 4, I get lucky and squeak in at 4th.

SF vs 'BUG two-for-ones', sweet deck of ultimate value and Leovolds. G1 I combo through a DRS with double Shallow Grave, G2 he wasn't aware of the SB plan and SfM and Mentors go to town.

Finals vs the same UW Stoneblade deck. G1 I reanimate a Griselbrand, G2 is grindy but Mentor is able to get the job done with Tendrils @ Storm count 1 to pump the team for lethal.

It's actually $77.77. These are artisanal, heirloom cocktail onions from a small farm deep within the Helvault, impaled on toothpicks of pure silver.

You don't get to keep the toothpicks.

We need to start on the hors d'ouvre/snack that pairs with the CircleBurst OnionJerk. Ideally, something ungodly spicy that will annihilate your backend...so we have the Emrakul flavor as well and replicate what the opponent tends to be experiencing.

On a separate note...anyone planning to burst onions at Louisville?

I might. I think instead of playing the main event I'm just going to do the $40 single day challenge on Saturday and bring 2-3 decks to fool around with.

Nice! Hoping to randomly meet a few folks from the forums at the GP; was randomly introduced to/met .dk at an SCG last year. Always nice putting faces to forum names

I'm definitely trying to head out to Louisville. Trying to coax some other Denver people to come out with me though (RICHARD CHEESE) cause I don't wanna solo it.
