I honestly think at this point there is zero reason to debate Bans and Unbans. Since all major coverage of Legacy has stopped we are likely insignificant now. I mean it took the whining of a blading baby who use to be head of RnD to have them move on Vintage, what fucking chance have we got?

I cant believe this laziness from wotc... Is it really that hard to take the 5 minutes it takes to go over the banlist and decide that Mind Twist(there are others too of course) doesnt belong on the banlist? I mean even if the people in charge of the banlist know absolutely nothing about legacy, its not that hard to look at the numerous discussions and polls online that show that most people think there are at least a couple cards that should come off. Its almost like they are purposefully trying to ignore legacy.

BANNED
Sensei's Divining Top, Show and Tell, Griselbrand, True-Name Nemesis.

UNBANNED
Mind Twist, Earthcraft, Survival of the Fittest, Goblin Recruiter, Yawgmoth's Bargain.


Each ban or unban would obviously be most prudent if done one at a time. Interestingly, there's been a lot of price movement on Yawgmoth's Bargain this week.

Bargain isn't safe at all, and i say this as a proponent of SotF unban. It's way,way better than AdN, and it would push combo (and conversely, blue) a lot.

Also you should notice the disconnect when you say ban grisly and tehn unban bargain.

I'm not even sure Show and tell need banning if you remove grizzly. Emrakul is good but it's not insta-win and you'd run 4 only, with the next best being .. Jin-Jitaxias?

Jin Jitaxias was legitimately a good designed card. It's just that Grizzly is way too good with all the ways to cheat him in and make SnT and reanimate busted spells. Jin gave you time to respond and the body wasn't as relevant. I miss when reanimate was at least a bit about choosing a creature.

Yeah, Jin was still reasonable because of the mediumsize body and window of interaction before getting blown out by him. Griselbrand was just worlds better with him being a threatening killcon and having immediate effect

Irrelevant because Yawg Bargain isn't going to be unbanned, but still funny. Bloodbraid and Bitterblossom would regularly spike right before unban announcements due to rumors (of course, Blossom actually was unbanned eventually). Interestingly, EMA Jace has spiked over the WW Jace in the past few days - http://www.mtgstocks.com/cards/30937 .

SPike Bargain though? That's just dumb. Wonder why, even the retards over at QS haven't written about it.

VSL probably the only reason they mentioned Vintage at all. Legacy is dead to them, they don't acknowledge the format exists and they won't even unban the unplayable shitty cards for people to brew with.
