Anyone from the Syracuse area have a free spot/need a ride to this even?
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.”

Well, we finally have a full car from Columbus, Ohio. Settling in the hotel for the night.
One of the people in my car would like to inform everyone that they are about to be blown out by Tarfire. We'll see everyone tomorrow.
If you see an asian guy in an Ohio State jersey, feel free to come by and say hi.

Two cars of us. I wish Leif would actually come to one of these
Will says I'm in BZK. I don't know what is going on.
Updates?
Um, I'm 1-1 after losing a good match to Kyle Morin. Lots of Ooze Survival, and just Survival in general. Turnout was a tad lower than what I've seen at 138 people.

Is there video coverage?
So 138 people show up to this and no one has posted any results or happenings?
Lame.
Anyways, nice work Eli I'd imagine for putting on another great event. I hope to be there at the next one.
Here is an update:
I went 0-2 with Dredge. I got LAND FLOODED....
...so I sold my deck.

I was the "landstill" player. My list was very random, I made it at 1105am the morning of the tourny. Luckily the tourny started late (although I've run something similar to this recently) but my deck BUG with goyfs, bobs, 6 black removal spells, jace, 2 standstill, bunch of counters and sideboarded counterbalance which worked out well because it wasn't needed or even good in most of my matchups today. I lost to goblins twice but that's because I have a lot of dead cards md and nothing good to come in (that's what I get for making my sb in 2 minutes), ill be changing my sb for sure to tweak the matchup. I was happy to win a mox. Another great tourny eli, the 4 hr drive is worth it everytime.
Roodmistah back to back T8s in huge tournaments after not playing forever - pretty sick.

I came up with three other members of Team Lucksack, and three of us finished 5-3. I came in 27th, just out of prize support. Starting 4-1 and dropping two of your next three to not make prize is pretty rough beats.
That said, the store, Eli and his staff, and all who were at the tournament created an atmosphere that was definitely something to envy. We had a great time, and we'll try to be back sometime in the future. If only it wasn't an eight hour drive. We got back around 6:00 AM this morning.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, if you were playing Peacekeeper against a Survival Elves player and lost to Unyaro Bees, that was some last minute tech I put into the deck.
Hot stuff!
