Thanks Eli for a great tournament. I went 4-4 with TES losing to 2 landstill variants, survival (i punted game 3), and losing one match to deadguy ale (land destruction can hurt with only 10 lands and the only artifact mana in hand being LED). I had a lot of fun and plan on continuing to play TES.

Awesome tournament. Aside from not sleeping the night before and having a 5 hour drive back home this was totally worth it.

I started my day going 0-2, then proceeded to 2-0 my next 3 opponents, then had to mulligan way too often and got raped by my next 2 opponents.

Still an amazing event and would consider going to another if my boys all want to stay the night there in NY next time instead of trooping it back to CT after 10 hours of Magic.

Well the next one is all set for November 14th if you guys want to book your rooms early. I'm glad everyone had a good time and it was nice to see it was a resounding success. People had me worried with low estimates all the time. The consensus most people were giving me was that I would peak at about 75 and I was truly elated to get 132.

I'm thinking of holding a 1k standard tournament in the next month or so, but I want some reassurance that it will be a success. Anyone on here interested?
