Not the most overcosted creature, but could rival Dripping Dead (which is at least in the Low 10)...
It's a Goblin, which is good in itself...but I still won't be impressed if someone drops this off a first turn Lackey, which says enough about a six-mana-card.

georgjorgeGeistreich sind schon die anderen.
I dunno... it seems like Tempting Wurm sucks out of control. You play that and your opponent laughs his ass off as he now has 5 turns worth of cards out.
Today is under construction
Thank you for understanding.
Temting wurm actually saw play in vintage for a while.
A guy I play casual with actually has a cool Tempting Wurm/Endless Whispers combo that lets him do something akin to Flash/Hulk. Really cool to watch.
If the card is reasonably priced and does something unique, it will have a use somewhere, at some time.
@Georgjorge, yes I saw a guy packing Great Wall in fear of Righteous Avengers. He would not take it out, stating that Righteous Avengers had killed him with their unfair evasion. This was a long time ago. I think I was playing my Argivian Archaeologist/Chaos Orb deck at the time.
Also, I want to renew my vote for Rapid Fire.
"Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."
"Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason."
"Governing is too important to be left to people as silly as politicians."
"Politicians were mostly people who'd had too little morals and ethics to stay lawyers."
Well. It wins my vote for worst non-Foglio art by a mile.
WORST card in Magic? Anybody said Karplusan Giant yet? Or Deep Spawn...that was a stinker. I think Karplusan Giant wins that, though.
Really? 'Cause both of them are bombs compared to pretty much everything that was mentioned in this thread. The Giant is a Primeval Shambler for two more mana, and Shambler was in 8th edition so acceptable by modern design rules. And Deep Spawn is practically Morphling's grand-daddy. I mean, did you read Wood Elemental?
YOU'RE GIVING ME A TIME MACHINE IN ORDER TO TREAT MY SLEEP DISORDER.
Hey, milling yourself for two was scary back then, especially for people who spent the time to get! Plus it tapped itself and timewalked itself, so it sucked wind.
Yes. TWO MORE mana. For a 3/3. Even in Ice Age constructed that's bad.
...Great Wall at least can help vs. the DREADED GIANT SLUG
...Wood Elemental is that late game bomb you fear -- "What is in his deck? What will he do with his 15 forests on turn 25? /Cower!" EDIT: also, it's an Elemental... Champion it, baby!
Wood Elemental has +1 +1 counters that help if you play before humility.
Chimney imp is a flyer.
So my vote is snowfall for worst card ever.
It's pretty much a cooler version of dry spell
Hello friend.
Because simply dying to that removal, like almost every other creature did back then, is so much better, right?
And I know self-milling is loathed by casual players (too bad, it's an interesting mechanic), but Deep Spawn is an optional trigger. You can get rid of it at any time if its 6/6, removal-proof body somehow fails to kill the opponent in a reasonable number of turns.
Karplusan Giant: seven mana for a 3/3 that pumps for R.Yes. TWO MORE mana. For a 3/3. Even in Ice Age constructed that's bad.
Wood Elemental: seven mana for a fixed 3/3, and you lose three Forests.
Hmm.
Force of Nature was printed at the time: even if you do get to 15 Forests in play, the extra +3/+3 isn't worth the loss of Trample and, oh, losing three quarters of your mana base. And guess what, it's an Elemental as well!...Wood Elemental is that late game bomb you fear -- "What is in his deck? What will he do with his 15 forests on turn 25? /Cower!" EDIT: also, it's an Elemental... Champion it, baby!
Or you could just have played Killer Bees, since "G: +1/+1 until EOT" is almost always better than Wood Elemental's ability, and flying is - sorry - the bee's knees.

Tempting Wurm + Endless Whispers + sacrifice mechanism + lots of ridiculous shit in hand= ZOMG!
For my confessions, they burned me with fire/
And found I was for endurance made
My personal vote is for Disarm.
You can argue that you can use it to remove equipment that would kill you, but when would you ever think of using a card that mentions equipment specifically when you can just use a bounce spell?
