cards signed by jesper myfors are rare at all because he does not show up at events at all.

hi dahcmai...i'd be interested in some betas/alpha basics as well. Signed or not, but only in nm condition.
noob question: is there any problem with alpha basics? why i always see beta basics in pimped decks and never alpha's? rounded corners are a problem???

They can be depending on how you have your deck sleeved, but generally speaking as long as you are using opaque sleeves I've never had a problem running my alpha basics over beta ones.

Alpha is a little bit harder to come by in some places (and overall), and some people actually don't like it, that's why you don't see it as often.

NM A/B anything is always a nice find.

Only stuff I had was some random junk signed by him. Guess that is one hard sig to get. I did have one card signed by Myfors that wasn't that little M looking thing though and was a full signature. Too bad it's an Artist Proof.

Alpha lands are hard to come by because we destroyed so many of them making Christmas wreaths, Paper airplanes, making lunches to losers and the like out of them. They were some of the most hated cards of all time back then. Open a pack, WTF another Land? The idea was to have packs give you the land you needed, but it got annoying real quick after you got a decent set going. Starters of Beta and Alpha were especially bad at giving you way too much land. Never open one of those if you can help it. It's worth way more sealed unless you luck out, which is pretty hard to do. I used to hate Beta Island more than just about any card due to the fact it would replace your rare a lot. You can find joke pictures still running around of how people destroyed Alpha lands making stupid junk.

Meh, I've seen infinite Alpha lands for sale. I've sold through hundreds. There are probably at least 50-100k out there, which is a fair amount.

This is the deck i'm playing at the moment (nassif gp09). I just want to point out that i do own jace 2.0 etc. but this build is more fun.

I just put the deck together a few days ago, so
-1 Ponder (player reward), couldn't find my lorwyn ones
-1 STP (IA), couldn't find my 4th asian
-1 Brainstorm (eng), Use my 4th jap. in my vintage deck
-4th CB, don't own that one!

I'll try and post German Legacy White Stax tonight. Stax is just one of those decks that feels like it's got a German personality, almost. Japanese would also work too, but I hate Asian language cards, and the deck can't be done entirely in Russian, so German was the next best.

I'll post the 2 versions hopefully, Armageddon and Dutch. It's not completely done, some are still in the mail, so cut some slack.

I'm with you on Stax just "feeling" German. I think it's the fact that it feels like you are behind the Berlin Wall once you get your defenses set up. Or maybe the efficient but strong cards it runs. I've been working on a similar build myself but am having a hard time tracking down a few of the cards. Any suggestions for places that I could get German singles that ships to US?

I suggest finding someone on MOTL from Germany, or in Europe in general, to get cards for you, and you just pay them and have them sent. Or, I can probably hook you up, Hook (no pun intended). They'll be a bit more expensive than English counterparts, but I'm sure I can get it for you, as I have a few sources inside Europe

My UBGR Landstill deck. My idea of pimp is the nicest art I can find in the language I prefer, and this usually ends up being blackborder English copy with the nicest art. Duals are Revised since I don't play with my Beta/Alpha duals, so don't rag on me about them. Highlights include 10 duals, Decree, Jaces, massive gravehate for Vengevine , Mirage basics (I like these a ton), and running Firespout in the main. Deck's fun to play, and decent to look at.







Weiss Stax

Mono White Stax done mostly in German, not totally done. Since my photography skills are terrible, I'll provide a list of translations of the English titles into what they say on the cards. Mind you, German City of Traitors and Mox Diamond are a real bitch to come by, as I've seen more Korean ones for sale than German. Haven't done the Ancient Tombs or Trinispheres yet, and I hate the look of German Wastelands.
