I'm from Paris, France so it was not too hard to attend this tourney. Only a 6 hours drive.

I played Tempo Zoo in Legacy and splitted into top 4 (723 players) and then went 7-2 in Vintage and placed 15th out of 350 players, playing Dredge.

Mad props on the underground sea playset Sea. Sandreline alters are quite remarkable, personally I own a beautiful german tolarian academy that was altered by her. Sadly I don't have an image of it on my computer or I would post it here.

I love Gedankenwirbel so very much, I wish I owned a playset of german brainstorms sadly I own only english copies/the same versions as almost everyone else.

Nice find. It's a Dark Visions card. Generally they aren't worth much more than the regular counterparts since it was a pretty large print run that got printed that dark, but it does look good on black cards. It'll get you a little more than a normal one since it's a really useful card that the darker print looks good on.

These days I would wonder a lot if a highly playable misprint in good condition like this would not fetch some kind of really nice extra. 3-5 times the normal price might be reasonable ... Mine saw a little more play ...

So I am currently in the process of finishing up with foiling out my TES deck. The only cards that I am missing are 4 Masques Brainstorm, 4 Infernal Tutor, 1 Time Spiral Gemstone Mine and 1 Polluted Delta. My only question is, do I get the From the Vault: Lotus Petals, or do I rock out old school with Tempest? Thoughts?

From the vault foils looks so darn cheap i can't stomach them.. Use nice original foils where possible and nonfoil original versions where foil's not available. Afterall you won't be able to foil Lion's eye diamonds.. so why spoil you deck with ftv or judge foils.. so darn fugly :/

I mean if you are into foil, why have some foils and some non-foils. One of the reasons I abhor foils is that with the reserved list you'll likely never have an all foil vintage or legacy deck (barring some kind of mono colored monstrosity like burn ... in which case you are probably poor and a simpleton anyway since you are playing burn ... but I digress).

Get the FTV foil lotus and get as close as you can.

Back to burn. Has anyone ever posted a 'pimp' burn deck in this thread? I'd love to see an all Walmart 4 x Premium Fire and Lightning Duct Taped together pimp Burn deck.
