Today I received something unusual. The promotional cards to a Sifteo cubes game which parody MTG. The thing is that they were actually signed by Richard Garfield. No idea, whether they are worth of something, but I decided it would be a nice thing to pick up.



And since lots of people here enjoy russian stuff, here is a bonus. I won this recently to add to my maverick deck:

Target is to have the manabase of a BUG deck all altered. So far, Fetchlands are already done except for another Tropical Island depending on the build. Am having Jap Zen basics extended too enough for me to play Nic Fit too. Included some of the pieces used for Legacy and Vintage. Enjoy.

That is a great looking altered mana base. Poxy must have done a lot of work for you ;D. Any trouble trying to play it at bigger tournaments?

Thanks. 99% of my altered cards are done by Poxy. I checked with the head judges during GP: Manila if I could play with my altered cards. All of them were cleared since they were only extended and easily recognizable. The only ones that were prohibited were the basic lands w/o the name because even if the symbol is still there, not all players know that is an Island or Swamp am using. This is the reason I switched to having them extended only with the fear of not being able to use it during tourneys.

EDH tourneys are much more lax so I could get away with different art alterations.

Sahmbady those are some of the best alters I have ever seen. Im loving the Doomsdays and the Merchant Scroll. And dat sol ring!

@ sumbahdy: I love Poxy14's alters, he has inspired me to achieve higher levels with my own alters and your collection looks awesome.

I have a similar goal to yours, although I refuse to use my own alters as part of my collection although I have done trades with poxy 1-1 on alters. It will be slow for me as I am trading alters for alters or singed cards and I just started with trading in this site. Your guys decks are amazing to look at.

Locally I have no issues with using altered cards; but extended is the wtg as you can instantly recongnize the card still.
